The Battle Pyramid Rematch

It had only been a few days since the gang had helped Pokémon Ranger Jackie bring Manaphy back to the Sea Temple and defeat Phantom. Not to mention that Cora and May had gained a Manaphy and Cora received an artifact of her ancestors. The gang would never forget that experience.

At the moment, the gang were on their way to Fennel Valley where the Battle Pyramid is.

"There it is." Cora said.

"The Battle Pyramid." Alain added.

"Where your last Frontier Symbol awaits." Brock finished.

The gang soon reached the Battle Pyramid, they met with Scott and Nurse Natalia Joy with her Chansey. As it turns out, this Nurse Natalia Joy was a fan of both Cora, Ash and May, much to Brock's dismay, because of their successes at the Hoenn league, and the Hoenn and Kanto Grand Festivals. Truth is Nurse Natalia Joy was a fan of both Pokémon battles and contests, and she liked to battle too, despite being a Pokémon nurse. She told how proud she was of Cora for becoming a Pokémon trainer. Brock had tried to flirt with Natalia, only to pulled by the ear by Max.

"Hey, is Brandon here, Scott?" Alain asked.

"I'm afraid he's very busy down at the ruins today. He can't really battle you two at the moment." Scott informed them.

"My Pokémon Center is nearby. Why don't you all come with me and wait there for Brandon?" Natalia Joy suggested, "We got a beautiful hot spring too."

"At the center?" May asked, excitedly.

"Yes." Natalia Joy nodded.

"With a view?" May prayed.

Natalia Joy winked, "It's the best."

"That sounds awesome!" May beamed, already sold on the idea.

Nurse Natalia Joy led the gang to the Pokémon center. Apart from having the usual healing center and dining area, this Pokémon center had an exercising area, a hot spot, battlefields and a contest stage. This center basically had everything.

Ash wanted to do some training, so Natalia Joy offered to help. He was skeptical of Natalia's battle skills since she was a Pokémon Nurse. Clearly, Ash had forgotten that Cora is the daughter of Viridian City's Nurse Joy. In the end, he lost to Natalia Joy, much to his embarrassment. 

So the gang decided to relax for the day as they tried to figure out which Pokémon to use in the battle against Brandon.

Later that night, Cora, Alain, Aaron and Ash decided to visit the ruins to see what Brandon was doing. They spotted Brandon in a chamber who seemed to be trying to solve a puzzle.

"Hey Brandon!" Ash called out.

"Oh, Ash, Cora, Alain, good to see you all." Brandon greeted the three.

"Making a discovery, Brandon?" Cora asked.

"Correct Cora," Brandon confirmed, "now watch me solve this puzzle." He moved a few squares left and right. "This will open up the sealed chamber, where the Pokémon I'm looking for is."

"You're looking for another one of the Legendary Golems?" Alain asked.

Brandon stared at Cora, Alain and Ash, "So you three know about the three Legendary Golems?" he asked.
