[5] The Daughter of Nurse Joy: Battle Frontier

To A New Region

Ash had won against Brandon. Pikachu was able to defeat his Regice. Ash was awarded the Brave Symbol, making him a Master of the Battle Frontier and entering him into the Hall of Fame. Scott offered Ash a Frontier Brain position, but he turned it down in favor of more traveling.  Everyone was happy for Ash. Soon afterwards, everyone went their separate ways. Cora, Alain and Mairin headed back to Viridian City in the Kanto Region.

When Cora returned home, she was given another welcome home party and a congratulations party as well. Everyone was proud of her and Alain competing in the Battle Frontier. They also threw a birthday party for Mairin since she was now ten years old. Alise had made a few costumes for the Pokémon Contests that Cora wants to do in Sinnoh which she was happy to receive. 

Alain wore black ripped jeans, long sleeve gray hoodie shirt, dark blue jacket, black boots and his signature blue scarf. Mairin wore a blue jean jumpsuit with a brown belt and a long sleeve green floral shirt underneath. She also wore a dark green hoodie jacket and brown boots. Alain had a black backpack, and Mairin had a cute green backpack. Alise had also given Cora a new outfit to wear:

It was soon the next day and the gang was heading out to the Sinnoh region.

"You're all set, Cora?" Alise asked.

"Yup. All ready." Cora confirmed.

"Do your best in your contests and gym battles, Cora. I'm rooting for you all the way." Alise smiled.

"Thanks, mom." Cora smiled back.

"You look out for one another when you're in Sinnoh. There will be new things to see and experience." Oak warned.

"(Don't worry, we will.)" Aaron assured them.

"I'll make sure that Mairin stays out of trouble, dad." Alain assured him.

"Alain! I don't always get into trouble!" Mairin whined.

"Say that to the Vileplume you woke up by accident." Alain retorted.

Mairin sighed in defeat.

"Well, we better get going." Cora suggested.

Alain nodded, "Yeah."

Cora, Alain and Mairin said goodbye to Alise, Prof. Oak, Prof. Sycamore and Tracey, and together with Kilala, Aaron and Chespie they set off for their Sinnoh region adventure.
