"Love, nobody is mad at you for not remembering. And if you will not remember than we are just going to live through it again and I will show you what we have done. Once you are out of this hospital I can show you your life."
"Thank you for trying this hard. I absolutely understand myself in why I love you."

The whole time I have tried to not cry but it wouldn't work anymore. I start crying and braking down in her arms. I tried to be the rock for her during this time but I have to accept that I need my rock to help me through it as well.

We talk a bit more before the nurse comes in and asks us to leave now because the visiting hours are over.
I kiss Bella on the forehead and we say goodbye and I promise her to come back the next day.

Hannah and I leave and get in the car.
"I'd say that was a win. I mean she didn't remember herself but she understands and accepts."
"I will come back every day, until I can finally bring her back home and maybe that is what helps her."
"You are the best boyfriend she could have ever wished for."

I drive us back and drop her off at her room and go into mine myself.
Before sleeping in I think about Bella a lot and then also dream of her.

The next morning I go out to eat and go into a craft shop and buy a little foto book, print pictures and also buy a glue stick and a pen.
Back in the hotel I hat to work. I glue the pictures on the pages and write a little text to every single one of them.
When I am finally done it is already 1:20 and visiting hours start in ten minutes. I pack the book in a bag and go out to buy a bouquet of flowers.

After I did that I make my way straight to the hospital

After I did that I make my way straight to the hospital.
I check in again and go to see her.
"Wow, what is going on here?"
"I thought you could tell me that. All of those flowers and gifts and cards were given to me and most of them have a little message with your name on it."
"Ohhh, yes. I reminded a lot of people what drunk driving can do and they know you though me. You know, I told you yesterday the thing with F1."
"That makes sense, even tho I sill can't quite believe you." She makes a motion for me to sit down next to her.
"For that I have made you something. I have made a little photo book with some of our most rememberable memories." I get out the book and lay it on her lap.
"And I have also brought you some flowers." I show her the bouquet and she smiles.
"Out of all of the ones I have gotten, this is the most beautiful one."

We go through the book with some tears from both of us. I tell her even more about those moments on the pictures and after we went through that we go though all of the cards and gifts that were sent to her.
We sort them in two categories. The first one is "I would love to keep that" and the other one is "I won't appreciate this as much as someone else would, so it will give it away to another person staying in this hospital"
All of the cards go in the first category and the first few gifts with chocolate or stuffed animals also go in that one. The other gifts that aren't exactly personalized to her go in the other one. We also put all of the bouquets except for mine and another very beautiful one in the second category.
