Older rin!

Sae opened the door slowly, eyes widening as he recognized the person standing on the other side. It was Mikage, his face illuminated by the dim light from the porch. Mikage was tall, athletic, and carried himself with an easy confidence that immediately commanded attention. His stylish clothes and sharp features made it obvious why he was popular, not just in their social circle but with anyone who met him.

"Mikage?" Sae said, his surprise evident.

Mikage gave him a calm smile. "Hey, Sae. Is Rin home?"

Sae stood there for a second, processing the situation. He had known Rin was dating Mikage for a while, but seeing them together in person was... different. He never really got used to the idea of his brother being in a relationship, especially one with someone like Mikage—who was practically a celebrity at their university.

"Yeah, he's upstairs," Sae finally responded, stepping aside to let Mikage in.

The five boys in the living room, who had been barely focusing on the project, all stared at Mikage with wide eyes. He had an undeniable presence that instantly drew their attention. Even Shidou, who was usually hard to impress, sat up straighter in his chair, curious about the newcomer.

Sae walked back to the couch and sat down, trying to act like everything was normal, but there was a subtle tension in the air. Mikage, still standing in the doorway, greeted the group with a polite nod.

"Evening, everyone," Mikage said with a friendly smile.

The boys nodded back, but it was clear they were confused. Isagi was the first to whisper to Sae, "Who is that? Why is he here?"

Sae glanced at Mikage, who was now leaning casually against the doorframe, looking completely at ease. "He's a friend of Rin's," Sae mumbled, trying to keep his voice low.

The rest of the group exchanged glances. "Friend?" Bachira echoed, a curious look on his face.

Before they could ask more questions, they heard soft footsteps again. This time, it wasn’t just a calm stroll—Rin was running. The sound of his feet descending the stairs quickly caught everyone’s attention. Rin appeared in the living room again, but this time his usual composed demeanor had a spark of energy in it. His face lit up when he saw Mikage standing in the doorway.

Without hesitation, Rin went straight to Mikage, a radiant smile on his face. The entire group froze, watching in stunned silence as Rin stood on his toes and kissed Mikage gently on the cheek. Mikage’s hand instinctively wrapped around Rin’s small waist, pulling him close in an affectionate, protective gesture.

Sae’s friends all stared, jaws practically hitting the floor. Even Sae, who knew about their relationship, felt a flicker of shock seeing it in front of him for the first time. He had never seen his brother look this happy, this comfortable, with someone else.

"Hey," Rin said softly, his voice holding a warmth none of them had heard before.

"Hey," Mikage replied, his hand resting casually on Rin’s waist. "You good?"

Rin nodded, his smile never fading. "Yeah. Just wanted to see you."

Mikage chuckled lightly, brushing a strand of hair from Rin’s face. "You always know how to make an entrance."

Rin’s cheeks turned a light shade of pink before he looked back toward the group in the living room. "We'll be upstairs if you need anything," he said, his eyes darting to Sae, who nodded in response.

With that, Rin took Mikage’s hand, lacing their fingers together, and led him up the stairs. The boys in the living room remained frozen, their brains still processing what they had just witnessed. The second Rin and Mikage’s door closed upstairs, the silence was shattered by a flood of questions.
