A few months had passed since that perfect morning in the park, and now it was Rin’s birthday. The air was crisp with the early signs of autumn, and the city was alive with the colors of the season. Isagi Yoichi had been planning for weeks, determined to make Rin’s birthday as special as possible.

He woke up early that morning, careful not to disturb Rin, who was still sleeping peacefully beside him. Isagi had a lot to prepare, and he wanted everything to be perfect. With a smile on his face, he slipped out of bed and quietly went about his tasks.

In the kitchen, Isagi worked diligently to prepare a special birthday breakfast. He made pancakes—Rin’s favorite—along with fresh fruit and a pot of coffee. He also prepared a small gift-wrapped box, filled with a few thoughtful items he knew Rin would love. Everything was set, and as he carried the breakfast tray back to the bedroom, he felt a thrill of excitement.

Rin stirred as the smell of freshly brewed coffee and pancakes reached him. His eyes fluttered open to see Isagi standing beside the bed, holding the breakfast tray. A surprised smile spread across Rin’s face as he took in the sight.

“Happy Birthday, Rin,” Isagi said softly, setting the tray down and leaning in to give Rin a gentle kiss.

Rin’s eyes sparkled with affection as he took in the beautiful spread. “This is amazing, Yoichi. Thank you.”

They enjoyed breakfast together, the conversation flowing easily as they talked about the past few months and their plans for the future. The morning felt intimate and warm, a perfect start to Rin’s special day.

After breakfast, Isagi handed Rin the gift box. Rin opened it to find a collection of small but meaningful items—some of Rin’s favorite snacks, a new book by his favorite author, and a handwritten note from Isagi expressing his love and appreciation. Rin’s eyes misted over as he read the note, touched by Isagi’s thoughtfulness.

“This is all so perfect,” Rin said, his voice choked with emotion. “But you’re still being mysterious. What’s the big surprise?”

Isagi grinned, his eyes twinkling with excitement. “You’re going to have to wait a bit longer to find out. Get dressed, and we’ll head out.”

Rin raised an eyebrow, intrigued, but he complied. They quickly got ready and headed out of their apartment, Isagi guiding Rin through the city. They walked through bustling streets, and Rin couldn’t help but notice the excitement in Isagi’s demeanor.

Eventually, they arrived at the train station. Rin looked around, puzzled. “Are we taking a trip somewhere?”

Isagi nodded, a mischievous grin on his face. “Just wait and see.”

They boarded the train, and the journey took them through picturesque landscapes, the scenery changing from urban to serene countryside. Rin’s curiosity grew with each passing mile, and he kept glancing at Isagi, who seemed more excited than ever.

Finally, the train arrived at their destination—a charming, cozy town nestled in the mountains, surrounded by lush forests and tranquil lakes. As they stepped off the train, Rin’s eyes widened in awe.

“This place is beautiful,” Rin said, taking in the stunning scenery.

Isagi smiled and took Rin’s hand. “There’s more. I’ve booked us a stay at a beautiful cabin by the lake. It’s a perfect place for us to relax and enjoy each other’s company.”

As they arrived at the cabin, Rin was overwhelmed by the stunning view and the cozy, rustic charm of the place. The cabin was surrounded by nature, with large windows offering panoramic views of the lake and mountains.

Inside, the cabin was just as enchanting—warm and inviting, with a roaring fireplace, comfortable furniture, and a well-stocked kitchen. It was the perfect retreat from the hustle and bustle of their everyday lives.

After settling in, Isagi led Rin to the lake, where they rented a small boat for a relaxing afternoon on the water. They drifted slowly across the lake, the peacefulness of the surroundings adding to the sense of serenity. Rin leaned back, his head resting on Isagi’s shoulder, as they enjoyed the gentle lapping of the water and the beauty of nature.

As the sun began to set, casting a golden hue over the lake, Isagi prepared a romantic dinner on the cabin’s deck. The table was set with candles, and the aroma of a delicious meal filled the air. They dined under the stars, the flickering candlelight and the sound of nature creating a magical atmosphere.

After dinner, Isagi surprised Rin with a small cake he had baked himself. The cake was decorated with a simple but elegant design, and Rin’s eyes sparkled with happiness as he took in the thoughtful gesture.

They shared the cake, laughing and talking as they reminisced about their journey together. The night was filled with love and joy, and as they sat together on the deck, wrapped in blankets, they felt a deep sense of connection.

As the stars shone brightly overhead, Isagi turned to Rin and took his hand. “I wanted to give you a birthday that you’d never forget. I hope this has been everything you dreamed of.”

Rin’s eyes were filled with tears of happiness. “It’s been more than I could have ever imagined. Thank you, Yoichi. This is the best birthday ever.”

Isagi pulled Rin close, his heart swelling with love and contentment. They shared a tender kiss, the warmth of their affection mingling with the cool night air. It was a perfect ending to a perfect day, a celebration of their love and the future they were building together.

As they wrapped up in each other’s arms, the world outside seemed to fade away, leaving just the two of them and the deep, unbreakable bond they shared. The promise of many more birthdays and adventures to come filled their hearts, and they drifted off to sleep, dreaming of a future filled with love and happiness.
