The salty sea breeze drifted through the training camp, a luxurious facility nestled along a private stretch of beach. The rhythmic sound of waves crashing against the shore blended with the echoes of laughter, shouts, and the occasional thud of a soccer ball being kicked. Blue Lock had organized an intense, month-long joint training camp, gathering top players from different teams. The purpose was to push them beyond their limits-but no one had expected emotional endurance to be tested just as much as their physical prowess.

Among the crowd, one figure always stood out-Michael Kaiser. His striking features, confident smirk, and undeniable charisma attracted attention like a magnet. It wasn't just his soccer skills that had people talking; his fanbase seemed to grow by the hour. Girls from nearby towns had somehow managed to find their way to the camp's perimeter, waving signs, snapping pictures, and screaming his name whenever he appeared. And Kaiser? He reveled in the attention.

"Oi, Kaiser! You've got another crowd waiting for you," Bachira grinned, dribbling a ball lazily past him.

Kaiser flipped his hair back dramatically. "Of course I do. The King deserves his kingdom-and his subjects." He shot Bachira a wink before striding confidently towards the fence where girls squealed at the sight of him.

From a distance, Rin Itoshi stood, arms crossed, his sharp gaze locked on Kaiser. His expression was unreadable, but his clenched jaw gave him away to anyone paying attention. Which, surprisingly, many were.

Isagi, watching the scene unfold, nudged Reo. "He's really doing it again, huh? Doesn't even realize Rin's right there."

Reo sighed, leaning against the goalpost. "Yeah... I don't get it. They've been together for a while, right? How can Kaiser be so dense?"

Even Sae, who rarely cared about interpersonal drama, glanced over from his stretching routine and muttered under his breath, "Idiot."

Rin didn't say anything. He never did-not about this. He simply stayed near Kaiser whenever he could, lingering like a silent shadow, his presence subtle yet constant. But Kaiser never seemed to notice. His attention was always elsewhere, flashing charming smiles, laughing loudly, basking in the attention of people who didn't even know the real him.

The tension simmered beneath the surface for weeks.

Week Three:

The shift was subtle at first. Rin stopped waiting.

One morning, Kaiser woke up to find the room oddly quiet. Usually, Rin would be sitting by the window, scrolling through his phone, or getting ready early for training. But the bed next to his was empty. The sheets were neatly folded-too neat.

Kaiser didn't think much of it. Maybe he went for a run or something.

But Rin didn't return. Not that day. Not the next.

Meanwhile, the rest of the boys noticed immediately.

During lunch, Isagi couldn't hold back. "Hey, Kaiser. Where's Rin? Haven't seen you two together in a while."

Kaiser shrugged, stuffing his face with food. "I don't know. Maybe he's busy brooding somewhere. You know how he is."

Isagi exchanged a glance with Reo, whose lips were pressed into a thin line.

Later that evening, as they gathered around the bonfire for some downtime, Shidou chuckled darkly. "You're really oblivious, huh, Kaiser?"

Kaiser raised an eyebrow, lazily poking at the fire with a stick. "What's that supposed to mean?"

Shidou grinned, sharp and mocking. "Nothing. Just funny how someone can be so full of himself and still miss the obvious."

Bachira leaned forward, his usual playfulness subdued. "Kaiser... don't you think Rin's been acting different?"

Kaiser snorted. "He's always acting different. That's his personality."

But something about their stares lingered.

The Breaking Point:

Another day passed. Kaiser returned to his room late after hanging out with some fans who had managed to sneak near the training grounds again. He tossed his bag onto the bed-except it wasn't Rin's bed. It was Isagi's. The layout was different. Rin's things were gone.

He frowned, standing in the middle of the room. When did this happen?

Suddenly, irritation flared. He stormed out, heading straight to Isagi's room. Without knocking, he barged in, only to find Rin calmly scrolling through his phone on the lower bunk, headphones in, completely ignoring him.

Kaiser's voice was sharp. "What the hell are you doing here?"

Isagi, who'd been reading, looked up and sighed heavily. "Dude. Really?"

Rin pulled out one earbud, finally acknowledging him with a cold stare. "I switched rooms. What does it look like?"

Kaiser's jaw tightened. "Why?"

Rin didn't answer immediately. He stood up, his gaze level with Kaiser's now. "Why do you care?" His voice was low, steady-a sharp contrast to the storm brewing behind his eyes.

Kaiser scoffed, trying to mask the confusion rising in his chest. "Because you're my-"

"My what?" Rin interrupted, stepping closer. "Your teammate? Your roommate? Your boyfriend?"

The words hung heavy in the air.

Kaiser opened his mouth but found no words. He'd never had to explain it before. Their relationship had just... been.

"I'm done," Rin said quietly, pushing past him.

Kaiser stood there, stunned.

Isagi let out an exaggerated sigh, closing his book. "You're an idiot, Kaiser."

Later that night, Kaiser sat alone in his room. For the first time, the silence was deafening. He glanced at the empty bed, at the spot where Rin used to sit by the window, at the small things he'd never paid attention to-Rin's water bottle, his neatly folded socks, the faint scent of his cologne lingering in the air.

It hit him then. Not like a slow realization, but like a punch to the gut.

He missed him.

Not just Rin's presence-but Rin. His sharp remarks, his quiet support, his constant, unspoken companionship.

Kaiser got up, not even bothering to put on shoes. He stormed through the halls until he found Rin outside, sitting alone on the bleachers under the dim glow of the field lights.

"Rin," he called out, breathless-not from running, but from everything he hadn't said.

Rin didn't look at him.

Kaiser sat beside him, their shoulders almost touching. Silence stretched between them.

Finally, Kaiser spoke, his voice softer than usual. "I didn't notice. I'm sorry."

Rin still didn't respond.

Kaiser swallowed his pride-the hardest thing he'd ever done. "I miss you."

Rin's fingers tightened around his phone. After a long pause, he whispered, "Then show me."
