Rin Itoshi had always been the driving force behind his soccer team, his fiery passion and skill on the field inspiring those around him. But lately, something had shifted. The sparkle that once defined his every move had dimmed, replaced by a pervasive sense of gloom. He'd become increasingly withdrawn, his laughter and energy replaced with a quiet, heavy sadness. His friends and teammates noticed the change with growing concern, and even his older brother, Sae, was deeply troubled by Rin's sudden transformation.

Sae had tried everything he could think of to reach Rin, from gentle conversations to insisting on spending time together. But Rin had become almost unreachable, retreating into the sanctuary of his room. One day, Rin locked himself inside, refusing to come out or let anyone in. Sae's worry turned into desperation as the hours passed with no sign of his brother. It was clear that something was seriously wrong, and Sae realized he needed help.

In a moment of clarity, Sae decided to call Rin's boyfriend, Chigiri, who had been a steadfast source of support and comfort for Rin. Sae picked up his phone, dialing Chigiri's number with a trembling hand.

"Chigiri, it's Sae. It's Rin. He's been locked in his room all day, and he won't let me in. I'm really worried. Can you come over?"

Chigiri, who was enjoying a rare day off, had been looking forward to a quiet day with Rin, but the urgency in Sae's voice made him spring into action. "I'm on my way," Chigiri said, hanging up and grabbing his keys.

When Chigiri arrived at the Itoshi household, he found Sae waiting anxiously outside Rin's room. Sae explained what little he knew, and Chigiri's heart ached with worry for Rin. They both knew that despite Rin's usually strong exterior, he was struggling deeply.

Chigiri knocked gently on the door, his voice soft but firm. "Rin, it's me. Please let me in. I'm really worried about you."

At first, there was silence. Chigiri's heart pounded as he waited, unsure if Rin would respond. But then, there was the faint sound of shuffling from inside. The lock clicked, and the door creaked open just a fraction. Rin's pale face appeared, his eyes tired and distant.

Seeing Chigiri's concerned expression, Rin hesitated but eventually stepped aside, allowing him to enter. Chigiri walked in slowly, his eyes taking in the disarray of the room and Rin's troubled demeanor. Without a word, Chigiri moved towards Rin and gently guided him to sit on the bed.

"Rin," Chigiri said softly, his voice filled with warmth and concern, "I'm here for you. Whatever it is, we'll face it together."

Rin's defenses crumbled as he sank into Chigiri's embrace, his eyes filling with tears. The weight of his feelings seemed to lift a little in the comforting presence of his boyfriend. Chigiri wrapped his arms around Rin, holding him close and stroking his hair with soothing tenderness.

Sae, who had followed Chigiri inside, watched with a mixture of relief and gratitude. He quietly left the room, understanding that Rin needed this moment of solace and comfort.

As Chigiri held Rin, he whispered reassuring words, his voice a gentle murmur against Rin's ear. The emotional barrier that had held Rin back for so long began to crack, and he allowed himself to lean into Chigiri's embrace, finding solace in his boyfriend's warmth.

Eventually, the exhaustion of the day and the emotional release took their toll. Rin's eyelids grew heavy, and he fell asleep in Chigiri's arms, his breathing growing steady and calm. Chigiri held him close, his heart swelling with a mixture of sadness and relief. He knew that helping Rin would be a long journey, but for now, he was just grateful to be there for him.

Chigiri gently brushed a lock of hair from Rin's face and continued to hold him, feeling Rin's weight growing more relaxed. The room was quiet except for the soft sound of Rin's breathing, and Chigiri felt a profound sense of peace.

In that moment, the world outside seemed to fade away, leaving just the two of them-a reminder that even in the darkest times, love and support could light the way.
