It's been a couple days since I saw the movie with my mom and things have gotten weird. Anna has started to back off of me a little, but that's not the weird part. Lately she has been fighting with Mandy.
I've seen them talking heatedly in the almost empty halls after school, Anna snaps at Mandy a lot, and they even ignore each other at lunch some times. For being the bitchy dynamic duo of the school this is strange behavior. Not that I'm complaining, they haven't hurt me physically since they put me in the hospital.
The day passed by as it usually did. I went to classes, finished my work before class was even over, and was called the usual harsh names. By the time the final bell rang I was glad to just go home. Aspen was coming around later and I miss him. He's been really busy with work these past couple days and we haven't really spent time together.
I waved goodbye to Niki as she continued to exchange her books and made my way out of the now nearly empty school building. As I went to pass by what was supposed to be an empty classroom, I heard two familiar and angry voices.
"You can't do this! Haven't you already done enough?!"
"Shut up! I will do whatever the hell I want! And unless you want me to get my hands on that stupid little sister of yours, you're going to keep helping me!"
Suddenly I heard the click of the lock turning and dashed into the empty room next to theirs and hid. I waited quietly until their footsteps faded before peeking my head out the door. They were gone.
What did Mandy mean when she asked if she had already done enough? And what did Anna want with her little sister? I was confused but knew one thing, something was going on with them. Something that had to do with me and I'm not sure that it's gonna end well. I think I might need to talk to someone, someone who I forgot I could call at times like these.
