It's been about a week since Aspen asked me to be his girlfriend and so far things have been going good. We told my mom the day after and she was surprisingly really happy. She kept going on about how she 'knew we were meant to be'.
I also ended up getting the solo for the song in my vocals class. I'm not too sure how I feel about that though, half of me wants to do it but the other always fears something will happen.
For some reason I haven't really seen Anna or her followers around for a couple days and it's starting to make me edgy. Never have they ever left me for this long.
School was quickly over and I rushed outside where Aspen was picking me up. I got into the passenger seat and he leaned over to give me a peck on the cheek. As usual I blushes lightly and he grinned.
I know he's 2 years older and that I'm technically still a minor, but we aren't sleeping together and I'll be 18 in a month. I was randomly brought out of my thoughts by the feeling of somebody watching us.
Looking around I couldn't find the source of the feeling, but it still continued to eat away at me.
"Ry baby what's wrong? You look worried."
I shook my head and looked back at him with a small smile.
"Nothing, I'm fine. Can we just leave now?"
He looked at me for a few more seconds before nodding and pulling out of the school parking lot. He didn't question anything further and I was grateful for it. Maybe I was just being paranoid about Anna not being around. Yeah that had to be it. I'm hoping that was it.
