As me and Sarah approached the Chateau again after my session with the therapist I could hear voices in the porch. More specifically JJ's voice.
"Wait.......you go first I'll follow you once the coast is clear." I said.
"Y/n....." Sarah said.
"Sarah please." I said.
"Y/n I understand you, okay, I really do. But you can't avoid him forever." Sarah said.
"Not forever just until he has forgotten who I am." I said joking a little.
"Y/n stop it. Do this for me." Sarah said.
"You want me to speak to him?!" I said freaking out.
"Not unless you want to. I just want you to walk beside me. You don't even have to interact with him, but just walk passed him." Sarah suggested.
"Sarah........I have just to the therapist that I didn't want to do and now you want me to do this." I said.
"You're right fine, I'll go ahead and then you can walk without seeing him at all and he won't see you at all and that way you get what you want and JJ gets more devastated." Sarah said.
"Sarah..." I said.
"I- I'm sorry, y/n I didn't mea-" Sarah started.
"I was going to say fine." I said.
"Really?" Sarah said.
"Shut up or I will change my mind." I said starting to walk. I sensed Sarah smile as I slowed down my walk a bit so that Sarah was walking in front of me. We emerged from the side of the house, into sight of the pogues.
The chatter quieted down once they noticed we were there. I think it was less Sarah being there and more me being there but I tried to think of it as both of us to keep my mind out of being in the spotlight.
"Y/n!" Kie said quickly being JJ had a chance to say something.
"Hey!" I replied giving her a hug.
"Are you still okay to have a girls night tonight?" Kie asked.
"Girls night?" Sarah asked.
"Yes I can't wait!" I replied to kie.
"You, me and kie." I replied to Sarah.
"If you told me that earlier I could've sorted nail polish out or something." Sarah said laughing.
"No need! I am prepared!" Kie said holding up a large bag that appeared to be full of all the essentials for a good girls night.
"You're going to be the most relaxed ever after this girls night." Kie said laughing.
"I'm not even going to ask how many different shades of nail polish you own." I said laughing.
"Y/n......." I heard a voice say. It was a voice I really didn't want to hear right now.
"Let's set up my room." I said to kie and Sarah trying to ignore JJ and leave as quick as I could.
"Umm........yeah okay." Kie said realising what the situation was.
"Y/n......" JJ said again.
"Pope, JB can you guys help Sarah and kie set up my room." I said.
"Yeah sure!" Said John b leaving after kie immediately.
"I'm so proud of you." I heard Sarah whisper into my ear before leaving in the direction of my bedroom along with pope.
It was just JJ and I left on the porch now. I know getting the others to leave wasn't going to stop them from listening in on our conversation but it helped me think they weren't.
"Y/n....." JJ said. Shit this was a lot harder than I thought.
JJ was currently stood up at one end of the porch and I was stood at the other end staring at the floor.
"Y/n, please......." JJ said. I heard the desperation in his voice. It sounded as if he was about to cry.
I tried my absolute hardest to find the strength to look up from the floor and at him. I really wanted to be able to look at him. And I was scared that if I did look at him I wouldn't be able to handle it and start crying.
I somehow managed to lift my sight up from the ground and slowly guided my eyes towards JJ........................
