"He answered the call, not for glory, but because it was his duty. It was who Fire Lieutenant Aidan Callejo was."

The honor guards, including me, formed a straight line. We are in formation, shoulders back and heads held high, showing respect and honoring our fallen comrade. Our Supervisor.

We are all wearing our navy blue uniforms, matched by our navy blue trousers with a black leather belt and black shoes. On the left side of our uniform is the logo of the Fire and Rescue Department and lines, signifying our rank.

While on our heads are the black caps with the Fire and Rescue Department insignia, symbolizing authority and our commitment.

Sei-jey stands on the podium, leading the last alarm ceremony, as he is the Captain. Near the podium is a brass bell. To the right is the casket rests on a wooden platform. It was draped in the Philippine flag. It is where Aidan lay peacefully.

Directly across from the podium is the parked firetruck of the fallen firefighter's team.

"A firefighter answered the call of duty, but no one could have ever known that it would be his last. We train, we prepare, but nothing truly prepares us for the day one of our own doesn't come home," seryosong sabi ni Sei-jey. Bakas sa boses nito ang lungkot.

"To honor the fallen of Firefighter Aidan Callejo, this is his last call."

He will now begin the final roll call.

"This is Captain Lirazan, calling out for Firefighter Aidan C. Callejo, Call Sign L1 . Respond if you can."

He didn't respond to the call, only silence.
