Vice Admiral Sharkun looked out at the massive fleet he commanded. He stood tall with pride when he thought of the strength of this fleet. Why they could challenge the Parapaldian Navy with this grand of a navy.
"Look at this fleet men. This must be the largest war fleet ever assembled in the history of Rodenius. This will be the fleet that finally unifies Rodenius under rightful Lourian rule, human rule." Sharkun announced to his officers.
His speech was interrupted by a loud and annoying whizzing noise. He looked up to investigate and found an odd looking black flying thing hovering just out of an arrows range from the fleet.
"Telescope now! ... Can anyone tell me what the hell that is?" Before anyone could answer the Vice Admiral a ridiculously loud voice came out from it.
"This is the Viridian Imperial Navy! This is your one and only opportunity to stop and surrender for trespassing in Qua-Toynian waters. Surrender or be obliterated."
True enough to the message the flying black box did not repeat itself and then flew off. Sharkun was left with a bad feeling in his gut, but after looking again at his fleet he ordered to keep pushing forward to Maihark. Unconvinced of the seriousness of the drones warning even with three massive ships appearing on the horizon, Sharkun ordered the fleet forward. Another drone then buzzed over.
"This is Admiral Aston speaking to say, you definitely should have surrendered. But, to have some fun let's see if you can survive this!" The drone boomed. Then it flew back to the fleet.
Aston turned back to his crew. "Launch forty fighters and all our flying pokemon."
"Yes sir, contacting carriers now." A crew member responded.
Over the horizon the two fleet carriers started launching their fights while their pokemon flew ahead. Each carrier in the Viridian Navy, besides flagships, has a complement of one hundred fighters, thirty Pidgeots, and thirty Sigilyphs. That meant that one hundred twenty pokemon were ready to descend on the Lourian fleet. Each pokemon had earpieces to receive orders from their trainers creating a highly cohesive and reactive fighting force.
