Around a month since Viridia's victory over Louria and the final pieces of the new status quote are finally being placed.
"All right, now walk on out there and greet your new country as its new leader." Admin Von taunted with a smug smile.
The newly appointed President Patagene scoffed at him and walked out to the balcony. All eyes and cameras in the imperial capital were on him when his presence was announced.
"To the people of Louria, I greet you as your new head of state, President Patagene. I fully understand your pain and anxieties about the future of the country after this last war. Believe me, I was there for all of it. But today I am here to tell you that going forward, Louria will survive. We will survive this defeat and we will build back up into the proud people we are and I promise you, we will never be humiliated again. I promise you..."

"I must say whoever wrote his speech must be a master of the masses, its complete garbage." Laughed the Carmine Estate head.
"Indeed, only a commoner could believe such stupidity." Agreed the Cuatue Estate head. "And yet, that is why it will work perfectly. There's nothing like a spoonful of molasses to help the poison go down!" This elicited laughter from all in attendance at the Sprills Estates watch party.
"Hear, hear to the Viridian Empire and, to future profits!" The Sprills Estate head toasted.
"Hear, hear!" The party cheered.
A similar event was taking place all throughout Louria in the new consolidated estates hosted by the former kingdoms nobels. It truly was a great time of opportunity for them. After all of their rivals were jailed, executed, or otherwise dealt with for participating in the war or resisting Viridia. With them and their followers gone their holdings were essentially free for the taking. And now with the former king's armies in shambles and their power increased they could now wield incredible power. Within their territories they could do whatever they liked and they could do the same outside as long as trade flowed and Louria didn't collapse. Viridia even allowed limited wars between estates! All this for the simple cost of 7% of total revenue biyearly.
All across Louria lines and alliances were already appearing. Soon the country would find itself in a vicious deadlock of violent competition for money and power led by its nobels and government. Each lord now effectively warlord crime bosses, each administrator a conspirator, and each guard and knight, a thuggish lacky. And at the internationally recognized head of it all, President Patagene who would soon join the corrupt competition.

"Now that, ladies and gentlemen, is how to rebuild a country. Congratulations Von, this was a perfect and smooth operation." Tyrael congratulated.
"Aye don't even worry about it bro, it was shlit work. Free money, free power, and free infighting, it's perfect for a country full of assholes and perfect for extraction." Von responded.
"Well in any case Louria is now successfully within our ever growing sphere of influence. Now that it is fully done we can finally turn our attention back to a promise we made to some disrespectful islanders." Some morbidly excited faces lit up at the mention of the upcoming war. This time their explicit goal was to annex each country which meant a total all out war of conquest.
"Okay listen up everyone, we're gonna stay here for one more week to make sure nothin crazy happens then we fina head out and prepare for the war with Awan, Gahara, and Fenn. Ight I'm out then, see y'all back home soon." Tyrael then walked out leaving them to their jobs.
