— The second night part 3

The hall's were silent —not to mention most of it couldn't be seen as it was dark as you see in most haunted placed.

So he hadn't expected to see Avery.

"What are you doing here?" Avery had a suspicion glint in her eyes.

Ji Hui couldn't help but blurt out the first thing he thought off as he didn't even know what type of personality Liam had.

He went in blind.

"...I couldn't sleep. I kept hearing banging on the walls.." Ji Hui said with an afraid expression.

Avery seemed a bit suspicious but soon her suspicions were dispelled as she "noticed" her brother did seem afraid anymore.

But right now she scoffed.

She though Liam was just scared because of what their older brother said in the car.

"It's probably just a rat. This house is old after all don't get scared by what Adam said the other day." Avery had her arms crossed with a small frown.

Ji Hui slipped his hand into his pajama pants as his expression was as a scared child would have even though his hands made sure the key and photo couldn't be seen.

But he didn't linger on it.

"What are you doing here sister?" "Liam" said with an afraid and confused expression.

"I couldn't sleep do I was just walking around."

"Aren't you scared sister?" "Liam" said clutching his shirt.

"You're such a child." Avery had a slight frown as she tilted her head. "There's no such thing as ghost, Adam was just trying to scare you."

Ji Hui knew that Avery was a realistic type of person—she was the one to not belive in ghost and supernatural.

It was the reason she died.

Cause by the time she become afraid it was most likely too late.

"Then can I go with you sister.." Ji Hui stepped toward her as if he was afraid. "I don't want to go alone.."

"Such a scary cat.." Avery muttered looking at her youngest brother.

Avery guessed that "Liam" had gotten scared and tried to find their parents bedroom only to end up lost.

The house wad big so it wasn't unusal someone would get lost.

Her littler brother was always a scary-cat—If Ji Hui knew that he had successfully fooled Avery he'd cry for joy.

Avery had gotten bored in her room and decided to explore their new house—she would do it during the daytime but she just couldn't go to sleep.

"Come on then," Avery had the same frown but she started walking the opposite direction. "Just don't cry."

She didn't see the flash in "Liam's" eyes when she turned.

Avery and Ji Hui kept walking through the hall's—and it might be the additional person but Ji Hui felt as if there were more pair of eyes on him.

But Avery didn't seem to see anything.

Ji Hui kept acting as Liam sticking close to her as an afraid Liam would do since he figure out the outline of Liam.

Liam was a typical child.

He was bright and energetic but very cautious and scared.

The opposite of Ji Hui.

Ji Hui saw a lone shadow at the corner of his eye and reacted as Liam would. "Sister! There's a man!"

Liam said in an exaggerated manner as he pointed to the corner but when Avery looked there was nothing there.

So of course she thought it was a child's tantrum.

"What are you talking about? There's nothing there." Avery said as she tried to look even more.

The hall's were dark but there were lamps so it wasn't pitch black—but that just made it even more creepy.

"Don't get scared over nothing!" Avery flared at her brother but patted his back in comfort.

Even though her words were harsh—her actions were the exzact opposite of her words.

"B–But sister!" "Liam" wanted to explain himself.

"Let's keep going." She just kept walking.

Ji Hui—even though his expression was terrified his eyes were clear and calm but of course he masked it.

They kept walking and the more they walked the more Ji Hui remembered where this hallway led too—it wad the hall that led to the attic.

Which was most likely close to the Nannys room.

But there were sudden footsteps.

step.

step

step

Ji Hui tense in accordance to "Liam's" persona as so didn't Avery who couldn't help but tense in place as they both froze.

Avery didn't belive in the paranormal but that didn't mean she wouldn't be scared.

The steps got closer and closer until.

"Boo!" A tall figure appeared around the corner and scared them.

"Ahh!"

"AHH!"

Avery screamed loud as "Liam" closed his eyes but soon Averys shout made him open them. "Adam!"

"You scared us you idiot!" Avery said as she stomped her foot in frustration.

"Haha you little chickens!"

The second character arrived.

Kinda short people
