— The second night part 4
Adam whom had been hiding behind the corner appeared with a teasing grin on his face—Avery wasn't pleased as she glared at him cleary very upset.
While "Liam" was frozen in fear.
But reality Ji Hui lamated the start of the horror fest.
Where each character will get killed off until the final one is left alive—or the case gets solved.
All that was missing were the parents but besides that all the characters were present at this moment—or the important ones.
Adam didn't seem to want to stop laughing so soon but that didn't sit well with Avery who was upset.
"Your so annoying." Avery rolled her eyes as she crossed her arms. "What are you doing here anyway."
Ji Hui just stood behind her just watching this play out not bothering to the intervene anytime soon or possibly this whole time.
"I was just looking around." Adam said looking at the area toward the attic.
"You? The lazy pig of the family?" Avery didn't hesitate to pull shots.
"That's right smart-ass."
"I'll tell mom your cursing." Avery hated being called that.
"Then I'll tell her your up past curfew."
Adam and Avery had a competitive spirti against eachother—and it was very obvious to Ji Hui or anyone.
The Sammon couple has a strict curfew for the younger children so they could have "healthy habits" so Avery would get in trouble.
And so would Liam.
"You're such a snitch Adam!"
"And your so annoying."
"You—"
Boom!
There was a loud boom at the end of the hall that led to the attic—that caused the three of them to freeze.
But it instead of it stopping a soft click started.
It was faint but for some reason all of them could hear it.
"What is that?"
"is someone in the house?"
"Liam" clutched Averys's shirt a bit tighter. "C-Could it be mom or dad?"
"Mom and dad's room is on thr other end of the hall at most it could be the nanny." Avery rolled her eyes trying to seem confident.
"I doubt it, the nanny way working all day so she's probably asleep." Adam said seeming more mature.
But no he had to make a dumb decision.
"Let's go check it out."
"What if someone broke in the house?" Avery was the voice of reason.
"Wait a second." Adam said as he turned and left to get something.
"what the—"
Ji Hui was a bit confused as too why Adam suddenly went somewhere to get something but Ji Hui had no clue what.
Avery was just annoyed.
The clicking hadn't stopped nor did it get louder—it was just a an steady pace while Avery and Ji Hui waited for Adam to come back.
Ten minutes later Adam had come back.
And he had a bat.
That's right Adam had went to get a bat.
"A bat?" Avery had crossed her arms.
Even Ji Hui was a bit confused but better something than nothing.
"Let's go."
"Why are we going in there?"
"To investigate."
"right."
Ji hui was just watching.
Ji Hui followed them to the attic but the noise didn't get louder but still feels as if it was at the same distance.
It was strange but ominous but Adam was at the front with his trusty bat.
But the moment they opened the attic door the space felt strange—and there was something else in the room.
What is that?
