— The second night part 6

Ji Hui didn't have time to admire this room nor did he have time to explore even if he wanted to—he had to find out the secrets as soon as possible.

Otherwise he was sure he’d be killed by the house.

The house had discovered his investigation at this moment and sent the Nanny after him. Though the nanny was going after his “family”, it must be because it thought they were acomplaces.

Though by now he wouldn't be surprised if some of them were dead.

Ji hui glanced around the room—and all there was, was cabinets. Not to mention the large glass that looked into a wide room that seemed to be some sort of bedroom, or some sort of experimental room.

It was similar to those interrogation rooms with the spying glass that police stand on.

It was strange but he couldn't think about it now and it was empty so it didn't seem important.

Ji Hui had investigated the cabinets, some of them opened others didn't open. He didn't have the keys so he didn't bother with them.

The ones that were open were filled with folders full of files.

On the first folders it read [ Project Paradisiac Trial one. ]

Ji Hui had an idea of what this could be but couldn't confirm it until he opened the folder. But sure enough it was as he thought the moment he saw the empty but strange room.

It was the data of an experiment.

And he had an idea of who the subject was.

This folder was filled with data and information on Violet, the experimental subject.

The folder was filled with multiple notes, and there were even pictures. In most pictures Violet was either full of fear or just devoid of life. Though in some pictures she was injured and on the back it explained why.

It was because of herself or the experiments.

Ji Hui could guess who was doing these experiments on the handwriting.

The man from the journal—and his reason was clear. He wanted to make a perfect version of "violet" for himself after he felt Violet betrayed him.

But Ji Hui just thought he was stupid.

Violet was never his in the first place.

A lunatic was all he was.

The more folders Ji Hui went through, the more he could see the progression of the project and Violet's insanity.

Trial ten...twenty...thirty-five...And by the time he got to the 50th one.

Violet could no longer be called human.

She had a certain animal's wings combined on her back but these wings were enlarged. It was almost supernatural but JI Hui couldn't think anything other than that man was a lunatic in human skin.

On the back of the photo the words “I've created the perfect angle” and then a door number.

Ji Hui was confused on what that room number was but he didn't have time to ponder and even if he wanted more information, he couldn't access it.

It was uncessable.

Ji Hui placed the image from the 50th file in his pocket, along with the key. He needed to find his family—he still has to play family or his “family” would for sure attacked.

He needed to investigate while playing family.

The moment Ji Hui stepped out of the room he could hear the screams of his “family”. It was his father shouting at the rest of the members of the family.

He seemed to be fighting with the Nanny trying to hold her back as the others escaped.

“Run! Don't worry about me, go!” He said as he slammed the bat on the Marias head, but it was as if she felt nothing.

Even though she had blood flowing from her head she moved nimbly, letting out an inhuman growl. “Rawr!”

The housekeeper pounced on the dad as he tried to defend himself using the bat. His wife and kids couldn't help but freeze.

“Dad!”

“Why are you still here? GO!”

Just as the housekeeper managed to get close to his throat a vase was shattered on her head. Her glimpse of distraction managed to help the dad push her off of him, it was Ji Hui who had shattered the vase on her head.

Ji Hui now had the expression that was “liam”.

His eyes were red as if he had been sobbing and he crashed into his fathers arms, his father of course caught him. “Liam, where have you been?!” His mother questioned him.

But his father interrupted this moment. “Let's worry about this later."

"Run!”

The housekeeper was on her feet in no time as she chased after them. Ji Hui stared at her coldly as his head rested on his fathers shoulder.

The dungeon had truly begun.
