L. A MISTAKE NOT SO COMMON

━━━━━━

"Adore me

Hold me and explore me"

IT DIDN'T TAKE VERY LONG for the news of Katie Bell's curse to spread all over the school. After Katie was removed to St. Mungo's Hospital for Magical Maladies and Injuries, many couldn't help but wonder what had thoroughly occurred, for no one knew the full-on details other than Harry, Ron, Hermione, Marjorie and Leanne, all of whom seemed to only one to know that Katie Bell herself had not been the intended target.

Although, Harry was very convinced that Draco also knew that Katie was not the target, still pressed on the fact that he believed that Draco had been the sole reason as to what had happened to Katie, which Hermione and Ron were feigning deafness to whenever Harry mentioned his Draco-Is-a-Death-Eater theory. But Marjorie didn't know what to actually think.

It was getting irritating.

Really, despite the mounting evidence pointing towards Harry's theories on Draco's involvement with the Death Eaters, weirdly enough, she was finding it a bit difficult to grapple with the idea of it still. She couldn't deny the possibility that Harry was right, and deep down, she believed in his theory. But there was another part of her soul that resisted, a part that couldn't bear to accept that he would actually act more heinous then he had ever been.

Goodness, even admitting this was agitating her, however Draco may have been a foul prat, but he had also been there for her when no one else was. They shared a history intertwined and in many ways, they were cut from the same cloth, heirs to prestigious names with reputations to uphold. Difference was: his parents loves him to death, all the while her Father wanted to kill her and she ran away.

"...left you with Potter for the first trip to Hogsmeade once and all of this rubbish happens?"

Marjorie could merely muse and repress her current thoughts as she listened Daphne continue on and on with her tangent as they were surrounded by the quiet confinements of the library.

This was supposed to be an innocent studying session between them, but the gossip had gotten to Daphne so much that she couldn't help but to talk about it.

"I assure you Harry's got nothing to do with the fact that Katie Bell was cursed," said Marjorie simply, as she flipped through Why You should Stay Away From Vampires: For Beginners. The crisp parchment rustled under her fingers.

"He's always seem to be at the scene of the crime," Daphne pointed out, her voice laced with reasonable skepticism. Marjorie deadpanned at her, causing the blonde to huff in mild exasperation. "Honestly, this probably would have never happened if I hadn't lost that bloody bet to Nott."
