Chapter 12 The Day We Get To The Cathedral?....
After a few hours we got to the cathedral.We walked into the gate and went to the big double doors and knocked.As soon as we knocked zombies piled over the fence. "We are not letting you in we hear zombies out there!"Someone screamed."Fine! We'll get rid of them!"I screamed back. "Lyric we don't have the ammo for this."Kaleb said.I dropped my duffle bag and pulled out a sword."This is how we get through it."I replie."Everyone grab a sword or a bat."Kaleb said getting a sword.After everone got armed quickly,we started killing every single one.We were doing good until the worst thing happened.No not the church bell.It didn't ring.But someone somewhere started shooting with a S&W .500 Magnum.
The one gun that can be heard a mile away.Zombies started coming faster and faster.The hoard grew into a population to big for anyone to handle.We were out of grenades and e had sword and metal bats.We won't last long here.I went through all this bull shit to get here to end up dying at a church?! I made a promise to myself here and now.I am not dying in front of a church.Okay 2 promises.The second:I will not be killing by a flesh eating mutated ugly basterd called a zombie.I won't become part of the undead.At least not today.I hope.
I heard the crash of a window and turned around. I saw someone with a riffle starting to shoot the zombies around us. After a few minuets they were almost cleared out. "Fine. Come in but hurry up!" Someone behind the door yelled. So everyone ran inside just before some of us got grabbed. After we walked in everyone stood up. "Sorry. We aren't here to rescue you. Just some teenagers that have gone from Florida to California then to Chine then back and now here, Sorry to get your hopes up." I said deciding to tell them about our lovely adventures around the world. After they heard that they all went back to talking and panicing. I walked up to the alter thing and saw that it could open somehow.
So I called up everyone. "Alright this alter opens up somehow.So all we have to do is find out how to open it."I said. I heard a lot of aggervated sighs from the group. "Do you wanna get out of here alive or not?!" I said aggervated.Then everyone shut up."But how on earth are we going to open this thing?"Laura said. "Think positive you idiotic freakizoid!"I said trying to keep my voice down. Kaleb tried to hide a laugh."Lyric.Stop being mean to her!"James yelled.Kaleb walked over kissed me in the top of my head and put his arm around me."Leave her alone James! Shes mine so back off."Kaleb said and I just laughed slightly.
"I don't want her!"James said."Sure ya don't."Kaleb said laughing.I grabbed Kalebs hand and drug him off to find out how to open the alter door thingy.Kaleb opened a door and walked inside."Theres nothing in here!!"Kaleb said aggervated.I walked over and saw a butten near the alter.So being the person I am I clicked it.The alter opened a bit."Kaleb! Look for buttens.They open the alter!!"I screamed across the cathedral.Everyone looked at me and started grumbling.I just rolle my eyes and walked over to Laura and saw the S&W .500 Magnum in her hand."It was you!"I said getting pissed off.
"Your the one who nearly got us killed by shooting."I said to her as i snatched the gun and saw that it was empty."I-I didn't know that it would do that."Laura stuttered."Sound travels you idiot.You had to expect something was going to happen.Or think something was going to happen."I said to her."I wasnt thinking."She said."Obveiously not!"I screamed."Lyric give her a break."James said evil eyeing me.I just took the gun and put it in my duffle bag with my other weapons.I saw the alter open up a bit more to I guess someone found another button.It's now about half way open so now I guess 2 more buttons.
After another half our we had the alter open.Then this huge monster thing came up the stairs.It had little pore things that blew out blue smoke.That turned people into Zombies.We all bolted for the door but a few tripped.One person being me.The blue smoke was headed for my direction before it got to mt Kaleb ran over and quickly put one arm under my knees and the other arm arcoss my back and ran.When we all got into the alter we closed it by pressing a button.Kaleb put me down and I just stood there holding Kalebs hand a little shocked.
"Lyric it's ok calm down."Kaleb whispered to where only I could here it.I loosed my grip on his hand slightly.I saw him smile.It was me Kaleb James Laura and some other kids that I didn't know their names.We started with 10 and down to 6.We have lost almost half of our group now.Thats sad isnt it.So we walked down until we got to a room.It was empty with green walls and a grey concrete floor.It had nothing in it but us.I had a bad feeling about going on but we had no choice now.So we opened up the door and walked down a hallway.At the end of the hallway it opened up into this big house.I saw a chip on a scan code thing so I picked it up.
"This is and ID chip.To get out of this house everyone with you must have a chip.This is chip one.You now have 5 more chips to recover.Good luck.I hope you make it out alive."With that the machine shut down.I slid the chip into Kalebs hand and he just put it into my front pocket.We all started to search for the other chips.We found 2 others.So we have 3 and now 2 left to find.After another hour or two we found the last 2.So once everyone had a chip we walked up to the door and we scanned our chips."Please keep these chips.You will need them later on.Maybe."The machine said after that the door opened.
I was so happy we were out of there.We started walking in this street."We can't stay in the open like this."James said.I saw an old bar or something."We could go over there?"I said but it sounded like a question.I pointed to the bar."Well it's better then being out here where we could get attacked at any moment in time."Kaleb said.So James walked on the 2 weird guys followed then I.I looked to see if Kaleb was still back there and I saw Laura flirting with him.He just walked away and I laughed at her failer.So we walked into the bar.It had tables and I looked at the back to see it had sodas and alchahol.A bar with food?Yea!! We had food.Kaleb and I slept in the back where the drinks and food were.
Laura and James slept behind the bar.And the 2 guys who I found out their names were Brody and Dylyn who are gay and dating.I thought that ws adorible.Anyway they slept in the back with Kaleb and I.I saw them sneak a kiss and I just had to laugh."You two are so cute."I said with a smile."Well yu and Kaleb are adorable."Brody said.Kaleb kissed the top of my head and smiled.We heard a small crash and Dylyn kinda hid behind Brody."You guys stay here.I'm going to see what that was."Kaleb said standing up.He walked out and after about 5 minuets he came back."It was just Laura knocking something over."Kaleb said."Shes just ugh."I said rolling my eyes.
After a few hours of talking Dylyn and Brody crahsed.Then I crashed.Along with Kaleb.I guess James and Laura crahsed to.I just hope we didn't get cought by other people.Or by zombies.Or anything.But Laura and James would go first so that would be alright with me.
