Chapter 30 - We Find Jacob Blackk
We drove all night and finally came to a building. It was a science lab. I looked at Kaleb.
"Park in there. It's a science lab. It's probably the only place that would have the stuff you need to make a virus as deadly as the C-Virus." I said to him.
I leaned back and tapped Dylan on the shoulder. He opened his eyes and smiled when he saw me. I smiled back at him.
"We're almost there. Wake up the others." I told him.
He nodded and woke up Jerry and Shane. We drove through the gate and parked. We all got out of the car weapons in hand. Jerry had the hydra, Shane and Dylan had the pistols, and Kaleb and I had a metal bat and a sword. We started looking arounf and I heard a moan. It was coming from the little box thing where a dumpster would be. I walked over and a chain was just wrapped around where the lock should be.
I unwrapped the chain and opened the gate. A zombie lundged at me and I jumped back. I realized that it was chained up.
"Probably a test subject." I said.
"That's just sick. Why would you chain it up. Just put it out of it's misery." Shane said looking away.
I didn't want to do that because we were just about to find the cure. So I pushed it back and chained up the gate again. I nodded towards the door and started walking towards it. When I tried to open it was locked. It was a glass door so I took by bat and hit the glass. It shattered and fell to the ground. I walked through the door. Jerry, Shane, Dylan, and Kaleb followed closely behind.
We all split up. Dylan and I went straight, Jerry and Kaleb went to the left, and Shane went to the right. He decided he would be the one to go by himself. I offerd but he insisted. Dylan and I were walking down the hallway when I heard some shuffling. I couldn't tell where it was coming from but Dylan pointed to a room on the right. I nodded and I walked ahead of him. I walked in the door and in the room stood Jacob Blackk himself.
"So your the oh so famous Jacob Blackk I assume." I said as Dylan walked into the room.
"Yes I am. You must be Lyric Redfield. The one who my brother always talked about. I knew your dad. What happened to him anyway?" Jacob asked.
"I found him and he and his partner stopped at a collage. It was full of zombies and I left him." I explained.
"I thought you were supposed to be a sweet caring girl." Jacob said glaring at me.
"Just give me the fucking cure ass hole." I growled.
"Aww. And we were getting along so well." Jacob said fake pouting.
I glared at him. I wasn't in the mood for his bull shit! I just wanted the fucking cure! I've been fighting since day fucking one! I've been fighting for my life. I've lost some good friends because of this virus! How it got so out of control I don't know. The outbreak that killed my mother a few years back in China.
"I just want the fucking cure you ass hole! I know you have the Zombrex-C. No instead of infecting this entire world why don't you just cure the whole world!" I suggested.
He looked like he was thinking but he was probably faking it. I hope he makes the right choice. He could be known as the hero if he does this! He probably doesn't even realize that.
Dylan hadn't said a thing since he got in here. He just kepy his gun aimed at Jacob Blackk. Dylan knows he can't shoot him because he has the cure. And Jacob knows we can't kill him because he's the only one with the recipe. God dammit this is so fucked up!

There is only like 2 or 3 chapter left to write :(
I know it's sad but I'm going to finish my other book that I have.
I'm really sad that this is coming to an end but hey they found the guy with the cure!
Will Jacob Blackk give them the cure?
Will he be known as the hero?
Or will they kill him and find the cure themselve?!
