Chapter 28 - Talk About Bad Luck
I woke up and Kaleb and the swords were gone. There was a note where Kaleb was sleeping. It said:
Dear girl,
I took your little boyfriend with me. I'm sure your after me because you think I have the cure to the C-Virus. WEll You will only find out if you find me. When you read this you only have 2 hours to find me before I kill the boy and leave on a ship. All I can say it good luck to you. And I took your swords so now you have nothing but your bare hands to fight with. Good luck little girl.

I threw the note across the small room and walked outside. I started walking through a path. I can across this huge building. I walked onto the porch and tried to open the door. With my luck it was locked. I thought for a second and pulled a bobby pin from my hair. When I pulled it out my bangs fell in front of my eyes. I shook out my hair and pushed it out of my vision.
I picked the locked and pushed the door open. I closed it quietly and started looking around. I looked for any type of weapon that I could use to kill a zombie with. I turned around and was welcomed by 5 guys all holding double barrels.
"Is that any way to welcome a girl who just picked your lock." I said folding my arms across my chest.
"Your tresspassing. We found this place so it's ours."One with jet black hair said.
"I picked the lock with a bobby pin. You must have a lot of tresspassers." I growled.
They all looked defeted. I smirked in victory. I stood there waiting for one of them to say something or shoot me. They all dropped there waepos and surrounded me. They all looked me up and down like they hadn't seen a girl in 25 years. One of them grabbed me by my wrist and pulled me closer to him. I kicked him in the shin and he stummbled backwords.
I quickly picked up one of the shotguns on the floor and aimed it at him.
"Touch me again. I fucking dare you." I hissed at him.
He took a few steps away from me. As did the other boys.
"What do you want?" The guy who touched me asked in a shakey voice.
"Weapons, ammo, maybe a car." I answered keeping the gun aimed at him.
I saw one of the boys scramble to pick up a gun. But as soon as he has leaned down and picked up the gun I stepped on his hand and aimed the gun at his head.
"Now. Was that really a smart idea?"I asked clicking a round into the chamber.
He looked terrified. This was fun. 5 boys my age against me. This is the funniest thing I have seen since this whole Zombie thing happened. They all looked terrified once I had clicked the round into the chamber. I wasn't going to shoot the poor kid I just wanted to see what I could get out of this.
"Fine. Take a few weapons and take some ammo." The guy with black hair said.
I put my finger on the trigger and pulled it. The guy screamed like a little girl but nothing had come out of the gun.
"It was empty idiots. There is no point in waisting preasous ammo in a world lik this." I said tossing the2 rounds of shotgun ammo and the kid who touched me,
"You really had us going there." One with red hair said.
"So I get a few weapons and some ammo. But what about a truck. My friend got taken so I have like an hour and a half left to find him." I said.
"I'll look for the keys." The kid who I attempted to kill said running off.
The one with black hair showed me to a room full of guns. I looked at some of them and noiteced right away thalf of them were mine and Kaleb's weapons.
"Did you find like half of these weapons in a black car on the side of the road with a note on it?" I asked the kid.
He nodded and I went back to looking at the weapons. I picked up a triple barrel, a pistol, 2 metal bats, and 2 knives. I grabbed some ammo and the guy throught the keys at me.
I thanked them and drove off.

I spotted irving sitting in a car and I stopped and walked over to the car. I looked at Irving.
"Do you have a cure or not." I growled
"If I started this mess. They who started it is named Jacob. Jacob Blackk, Brother of Danny Blackk. He killed Danny and took all the credit for this. He made a cure but it's super rare." Irving said kicked Kaleb out of the car.
Kaleb grabbe me by my arm and dragged me to the car. I sat in the passengers seat while Kaleb drove.
First : Kaleb got kidnapped.
Two: I almost got shot by 5 guys.
Three: Irving isn't even the right guy! We are looking for Jacob Blackk. Danny Blackk's brother.
Let's hope this is the end of bad luck!

We were parked in a dark spot because it was about dusk. I was half asleep when I heard the moaning. I looked at Kaleb and he didn't seem to noitece until a huge horde of zombies started surrounding the truck. He looked at me and started up the engine. He floored it. The zombies were chasing the car.
After about 10 minuets they must have stopped chaing us but we kept going.
So our bad luck today consisted of:
Kaleb getting kidnapped.
Kaleb got drugged.
I gor held at gun point by 5 guys.
I had to almost kill one of them to get what I wanted.
Irving doesnt have the stupid cure.
We were sent after the wrong guy.
And we are looking for the only person who could kill the oh so powerful Danny Blackk.
Tomorrow has to be better. If tomorrow is another day of bad luck I'm shooting myself.
