Chapter 26 - Irving here we come
I woke up and not a rain drop in sight. Not a zombie in sight. It was perfect. I leaned over to Kaleb and kissed him on the cheek.
"Kaleb. Wake up we are almost at the oil feild." I whispered.
His eyes fluttered open and he smiled when he saw me. I stood up pulling him with me. I grabbed my sword and my jacket while Kaleb did the same. We walked out of the little hut and followed a little path that led up to a gate. Kaleb pushed it open and we both walked inside. Not a zombie in sight. Shockingly.
We were at the oil field place we were sent to. No one was there. It was 100% empty!! I'm ready to catch this guy and get it over with!
Kaleb tapped me on the shoulder and said, "I saw some guy walking up those stairs.", Kaleb pointed to the flight of stairs and some guy in a white suit was standing by the railing.
"He'll see up coming before we can do anything." I said looking at the guy.
Kaleb sighed and nodded. I started looking around to find a place that either Kaleb or I could sneak up on him. Then I spotted it. It was a ledge that I could climb up to.
"Kaleb do you think you could desract him. I found a spot where I can sneak up on him." I said staring at the ledge.
"Only if you one-hundred percent sure it will work. I don't want you to get hurt over some stupid guy that Hunnigan can have someone else track down." Kaleb said looking at me.
I sighed. I don't know if it will work or not. I can't garentee that it will work as good as I hope it does. I could tell Kaleb knew that I wasn't sure if it would work.
I don't want to take the risk though. The guy is in an expensive white suit! He probably has 2 Desert Eagels tucked away somewhere. Maybe he had a granade or something on him. There are so many things that he could have with him but we don't know which once were right and which ones were wrong. We can take the risk or not.
I looked at Kaleb and......................................
