"Hey, Cor. You ready for the Halloween party?" I asked as Shawn and I walked into Cory's bedroom.

"Please. I have no time for such things." He replied.

"Oh, come on, come on, come on. Guess who I'm going as." Shawn said. "Okay, I'll give you a hint. "Wow, Shawn, I wish I was as cool as you." He said. "I'm sure I have no idea." "I'm going as you. Pretty lifelike, huh?"

"Who are you supposed to be, Adriana-Camila?" "I'm Disco Barbie." I replied with a smile. "So where's your costume?" I asked. "I'm not going." Cory replied. "But you have to go." Shawn said.

"No, I have to stay here, aline. Locked in my room where no one can see me?" "What about Topanga? She's meeting us here, remember?" I said.

"No, I told her I wasn't safe. I can't be responsible for my actions. Only evil will come from together." Cory said. "Gonna make your move, huh?" Shawn asked.

"If I do, it'll be on all fours." Cory replied. "That's very... not romantic." I said. "Listen, I gotta tell somebody. Shawn, Adriana-Camila," Cory placed a hand on one of our shouldes as he said our names.

"I am one of the undead creatures of the night." "Cory, you can't fool your best friends." Shawn said. "Something's bothering you, isn't it?" Cory pushed Shawn and I down on his bed to sit.

"Listen, what I'm about to tell you is- is so bizarre no one in their right mind would believe it." "Then I'm your guy." Shawn said.

"It all started last night..." Cory began his story. "I was taking out the trash when Feeny came around the yard and said, "Mr. Matthews, I wouldn't be taking that garbage out if I were you." He said, moving his finger around with his hand on his hip.

"I had to. It was starting to move." I told Feeny. "Haven't you heard?" He asked. "I haven't heard anything. I live upstairs." "Well, it seems a wolf escaped from the Philadelphia zoo. Authorities believe that it may be somewhere in our area." "A wolf out here in the burbs?" "Yes, probably looking for better schools." Whatever that means." Cory said, continuing his story.

"Then I said, "So, how come you're taking your garbage back inside the house?" "Wolves had a keen sense of smell. The garbage would only attract them." "So your plan is to lure them into your living room?" "Stop if you will, but acting head of the neighborhood watch, I have duly warned you." Cory had his hands on his hips, mocking Mr. Feeny.

"And that's when I heard the rustling. I turned around. "Hello?" I called out. "Anybody there?" I took slow, suspenseful steps towards the bush. "Eric? Eric and a girl?" That's when I bent down. "Morgan?" I asked." Cory said.

"Oh, boy, you're not Morgan." I was face to face with it. Intense eye contact. It growled at me and launched forward, sinking its big sharp teeth into my arm." Cory said, showing us his arm.

Shawn laughed. "Oh, come on. There's no way you were bitten by a wolf." "But Shawn, what else could it have been? Look at the bite." Cory replied. We looked at his arm more. "I don't see anything." I said.

"Of course you don't. Everyone knows werewolf bites heal overnight." Cory replied. "Wow! Then you're covered with them." Shawn said, standing up.

"So you're really turning into a werewolf?" I asked, standing up. "Well, I didn't think so until I woke up this morning." Cory began his story again.

"I was in the bathroom. "Eric, what you're about to see may shock you." I warned. "Then put a towel on!" He said back. I opened the door. My eyes squeezed shut. "Okay, look!" I held out my arms. "Oh my God! I don't see anything at all!" Eric saidsarcastically. I opened my eyes. "Don't toy with me! It's all over me. I've got hair, huge amounts." I told him." Cory said.
