While we were standing by the lockers, Mr. Feeny walked around the corner and ripped off the sign on the wall that said, 'Illegal rave this Friday,' which caused people to boo him. He mocked them as he walked away.

"You know, Mr. Feeny, just between you and me," Shawn said. "It's stuff like this that really makes you unpopular."

"Sure," He replied. "And it's lonely at the top, but I save a lot of money on call-waiting." "What do you have against throwing an illegal rave?" Shawn asked him.

"Hey, what is a rave anyway?" Cory asked. "A rowdy, underground party," Mr. Feeny answered. "Get hip, Mr. Matthews." He walked away and entered his office.

Cory turned around and noticed Topanga. "Topanga, do you think I'm unhip?" He asked her.

"Of course I don't," She answered. "Oh, you left your earmuffs at my house." She handed them to him before walking away.

"So, Cory, any word about where the party's gonna be?" I asked. "How the heck would I know?" He replied. "Because your brother's throwing it." "What? He hasn't said a word to me... since fifth grade, actually."

Eric came strolling past us, and Cory went over to him. "Eric, my brother, what's up?" He said. They were too far to hear the rest of the conversation.

"Is your dad even gonna let you go to this party?" Shawn asked as he grabbed stuff out of his locker. "Probably not, but I can just lie and say I'm hanging out with you and Cory at his house." I replied. "He's still watching you like a hawk, huh?" "Yeah, ever since Eddie graduated and what went down with Mateo, he's kept me on a leash."

We wandered over to Cory and Eric, who were at the end of their short conversation. "Guys, guess who's–" Eric covered Cory's mouth.

"Yee!" He said, covering Cory's words. "You let him in on the secret gathering plan, didn't you?" I asked. "Sadly, yes." He replied.

Shawn, Topanga, and I ran down the steps and over to Cory. "Got you a band." She said. "They're old guys in their thirties, but I think they'll be okay." "And Cor, I got you a guy who'll jump out of a cake." Shawn said. "And I got you a party decorator who's gonna make it look like a neon rainbow threw up all over Chubbie's." I told him.

"Why would I want a guy popping from a cake like a groundhog?" Cory asked. "It was six bucks, man." Shawn murmured. "You paid a guy six bucks?" "No, he paid me."

Eric came walking over. "Hey, Cor. Check it out. I got the balloons." He said, holding two of them. One was yellow and the other was blue. "Usually takes two or three days, but I turned on the old Eric Matthews charm and got three hundred of these babies printed out."

He handed the blue one to Cory and the yellow one to Shawn. "Happy twentieth, Amy and Ellen." Cory read. "What?" Eric exclaimed. "You better go get your money back, Eric." "Oh, am I supposed to do everything?" "Fine, I'll do it." Cory took Shawn's balloon. "I'll do it all!"

He took the pack of balloons from Eric's hand. "Okay, I'll see you at the party!" He called out. "It'll be fine, Eric. I got a party decorator." I told him. "Really? Aw, thanks, Riana." "Anytime."

"Well, you somehow managed to pull this off, Cor." Shawn said as we walked through the gate and over to Chubbie's. "A whole anniversary party in twenty-four hours." Topanga said. "Yeah, well, you know..." Cory trailed off.

We noticed the line of people waiting to get in. Eric shook some guys' hands. "I'm taking it, you don't know those people." I told him. "Eric, what is this?" Cory asked as he walked over. "A surprise party for mom and dad." He replied.

"Yeah, and who are these other people?" "These are all our friends from school." "And what are they doing at our parents' party?" "Oh, that's right, I didn't tell you?" Eric questioned. "Good news, bro. We're throwing both parties."

Shawn and I ran over to Cory and Topanga. "Cory, people are fighting in the kitchen– or it's a moshpit. I'm not quite sure they both look very similar." I said. "Well, stop them." He replied. "We tried." "One of them took my socks without taking off my shoes, Cor." Shawn told him.

"Gosh, alright, I know what I'll do," He said. "I'll go upstairs, I'll intercept my parents, and I'll tell them the party's at the restaurant across the street. You guys get the anniversary guests and meet us there." "On it." I replied.

"Okay, which of these people look like relatives to you?" Shawn asked. "I don't know. Probably the people who don't look like they're going to a rave." I answered.

"Adriana," Shawn exclaimed as he ran over to me. "I thought I lost you." "What happened to your hair?" I asked. "And your clothes? And your hat?" "I saved Aunt Liz from the moshpit fight. She was crowdsurfing." "What?" I questioned.

"Gordy, you were the best man at my parents' wedding," Cory said to the man behind us. "Their wedding song, do you remember what it is?"

"Uh, yeah, My Girl." The man answered. "Cory, what are you thinking?" Eric asked. "Well, we can have the band play it," He said. "Shawn, Adriana, do you know where the band went?" "They weren't in the list, so Frankie sent them away." Shawn answered.

"Frankie, you ruined the party! How could you do this?" Topanga exclaimed as she hit Frankie.

"Tippy, Tippy, have you been eating meat?" Mr. Lawrence asked her. "Cory wants his parents' wedding song played for them, and this mall rat sent the band away! And I might have had a meatball." She said.

"Well, the equipment is still here. That's not a problem, I'll play." "Yeah, me too." Gordy said, heading over to the stage. "Adriana-Camila, you sing, right?" Cory asked. "Not in front of all these people." I said.

"Riana, please. It's for our parents." Eric replied. I let out a sigh. "Fine, just because it's for your parents." I stepped over to the stage and joined the others.

"Do you know how My Girl goes?" Mr. Lawrence asked me. "Yeah, my dad used to sing it to me as a kid." I replied. I took a deep breath and looked out into the crowd at Shawn. He gave me a smile and a thumbs up. I nodded as Gordy and Mr. Lawrence began playing the melody.

"I got sunshine on a cloudy day,"
"When it's cold outside, I've got the month of May,"
"I guess you'd say,"
"What can make me feel this way?"
"My girl, my girl, my girl,"
"Talkin' 'bout my girl, my girl."
