Apart from Yohan, only Marianna knew what happened the day she returned home both California and King's Mansion, courtesy to Yohan.

of course beside she was still living with him at his house, sometimes Natalie comes to his house to meet Yohan refused to let her be all by herself sulking alone.

one thing though, after that day she never cried once, at least not in front of anyone. What happens every night behind the closed door however was a complete different story.

nightmares, shattered heart, broken marriage, family disownment, to her sometimes dying felt much better option.

Especially when for the first time she saw Natalie with Yohan making out..... thank god they didn't notice her sneaking around when they were busy. A sharp sensation shot through her.....like someone put salt on her open wounds.

but at least someone was happy even though she felt bothered because unlike her own room in California, Yohan did not install any sound proof system in his flat. Natalie would come, stay and go, sometimes she would spend some time with her too.

Mostly both Yohan and Natalie acted professionally infront of her.....though Yohan never was really openly showed any interest or was ever vocal about his feelings toward any girl ever, Natalie velez was different case, her dear brother always had a thing for her since......forever!

Finally he's acting on it. Mayur never asked them about it. She thought when they'd tell her themself when they'd feel they should.

Unbeknownst to her, Marianna and Yohan noticed her sorrow, they knew the hell she was going through these days and they knew they had to do something about it, sooner rather than later!

Since it was Marianna who convinced her to come back to USA years ago, and then she was the one who wanted her back as a FBI agent as well. Marianna thought she should be the one to take responsibility and should meet her family and give them a piece of her mind, --- how could they instead of supporting her in a crisis they turned their back on their own daughter and threw her under the bus!

She knew she wasn't a relationship counselor and this is absolutely absolutely unprofessional, out of line even...... but she never saw Mayur as an outsider but her own daughter especially after she lost her only child into the hands of extremists once. After all she helped her for years after FBI rescued her and the others. So, as decided, she contacted her father Alec Parrish and the infamous ex husband Ezekiel King without Mayur's knowledge.

Marianna instructed Yohan and Cole to kept her busy in work with some other agents --- finding the terrorist or the other bomb.

and they would meet her family in person

So, Mayur wouldn't notice any difference in their behaviour at all because Natalie was with her. Apart from Mayur, she was the only one among 4 of them who didn't know this because Marianna didn't mention her anything, she didn't want Mayur to suspect anything.

25 days passed since the divorce, Ezekiel threw himself into work and alcohol. Sometime he would even sleep in office. He barely went home these days as everything inside there remind him of her. Jared literally had kick him out office to take at least one day off to go home and take some rest.

Unfortunately he had no idea that even one day of respite would be about his estranged wife.

So obviously he was in no mood to meet any FBI who was going to ask question about his ex wife, but he had to as they insisted for him to come and meet or they will come to his office, last thing he needed was any new drama in his already eventful life.

Everything was different ever since she left that day, -- his housekeeper, maids even his watchman acted differently as if it was he who did something he shouldn't have and he was the culprit. His servants were loyal to the family,....most of the senior aged servants helped Richard King raising his son after Raina's death, they took care of his every need, they were always so warm to him.

But now!.....

something has changed drastically since she left.

especially in the atmosphere.....

everyone around him was cold toward him.

One of the reason he didn't want to go home.

Did he took a wrong decision, she never contacted him after that day neither he tried to call her or contact her family. Recently he got to know that her disownment, so it means she never went to her house.....

Then where is she ?

How is she ?

why thought of her being not being in good conditions made his heart clench painfully, he remembered how she cried that day, pleaded him to listen to her just once

Relationship between the two family, two best friends was on the verge of breaking up....no matter how many times Richard tried to call Alec, he never answered. Maybe because of guilt or shame or his ignorance about his daughter or maybe because of the regret of the decision they both took 3 years ago about the marriage.

And now!

there he was, waiting in a dark conference room alongside his father in law Alec. At first, both were surprised to see each other, both opened their mouth and closed it several times, swallowed hard but didn't utter a word or meet each other's eyes while waiting impatiently.

No pleasantries ,.....That's obvious. After all, why would any father in law hug a son in law who humiliated and divorced his daughter just few days ago.

Nothing, so it was just as much awkward for Alec as it was for Ezekiel.

Good -- Air of tension between two of them was so thick in that room one can almost cut it with a knife.....Marianna thought while watching them through CCTV and slightly smirked and after few minutes passed

''i think it's time, don't you ?'' Cole stated, Yohan gave a nod while Marianna's face turned grim.
