Work load was too much at the FBI headquarters.....not one conversation remotely a simple hi/hello, anything and everything is all about work.......specially with those agents missing right now,

recently according to Yohan Qureshi, he found some lead on them or so he told her that.....but then she felt something off, as in something else was bothering him as well, she felt that since her birthday party.....

She couldn't possibly be at home right now, she at least got a time off for vacation, many didn’t......and not when she can help and most definitely not when an ex husband is at home.

work was basically an amazing excuse.

Mayur called Marianna, cancelled her off day, after taking a quick shower she started getting ready for work and came downstairs after half an hour.

''ma....I'm leaving'' She said loudly as she descended down and looked around the living room before leaving with Yohan. Suddenly her mother came out of the kitchen while wiping her hand with a confused look....

''ক্যানো....তুই যে বললি আজ তোর ছুটি''
[ why....but you said today is your off day ]

'হ্যা আমি ভেবেছিলাম দুজন জমিয়ে গল্প করবো, shopping করবো'
[ and here i thought we'd talk and hang out, go for shopping together ] Ferdousi whined making a sad face

''ah! actually i thought that too...but I've to go, emergency at office, I'll try to be at home early" She said to her mother and turned toward Ferdousi, "i promise I'll make it up to you'' and kissed her cheek and about to leave when her mother said....
''তুই সত্যিই কাজে বেরচ্ছিস না কি জিক বাড়িতে আছে তাই জন্য বেরিয়ে যাচ্ছিস"
[ so, you are going out for work or because of zeke ]

''Ma please, I assure you my world doesn’t revolve around him" She sharply answered and took a deep breath to calm herself...... just she was about to open the front door, she saw Zeke was coming in.

great just....great!

him again.... She groaned inwardly and walked passed him toward Yohan's car.

''Going somewhere ?'' Zeke asked, while checking her out,.....there was a faint smell of cigarette, looks like he was smoking out side.

''Yeah! we've been summoned back at headquarter'' Yohan cleared his throat and answered while Mayur just got inside the car without sparing him a glance

Noyin came out running and grumbling and hand out a tiffin carrier to them ''সারাদিন কিচ্ছু খাবেনা মেয়েটা.... সকালে শুধু এককাপ কফি খেলেই চলে ? এই নাও দুপুরে খেয়ে নেবে ঠিক করে, সবটা! দুজনেই''
[ She'll not eat all day long.....Just a cup of coffee and that will do ? Here, take this. Eat everything at lunch. And you too ]

Zeke was watching everything and wondering if these would have happened his mother were here today.......Alive

or probably not, she wasn’t really a maternal type even when she was still alive, at least not like Noyon parrish.

''Zeke come inside, son'' Naina called

'Oh!...uh! I can't....I've to go to the office, as in now! But maybe I'll join all of you for dinner' He suggested with a mischievous suggestive glint in his eyes looking at Mayur.......she only looked away.
