After few minute of ringing Yohan took the call......

"Hey, are you busy I guess you were right, he's here"

"what are you talking about!"

"He smashed my car Yohan, no security footage available, cameras were destroyed too, watchman was injured,..right now taken to the hospital!
It's him -- Igor" Those words left her mouth making her breathing sped up, she was hyperventilating.

The line went silent for a while, on the other side Yohan didn't know what to say or how to console her, he heard everything carefully what she was saying from the note to smashing and after all that happened there.

"Mayu! I don't think It's him!"

"IT IS HIM....you told me he's after Ezekiel, are you crazy or what.
who else is going to come after us if not him, no one has any personal vendetta against us!"

"No he didn't do it! I__ i don't think he attempt the kidnapping and i don't think he is involved in this either, i was wrong to assume that"

"And why is that!?" She yelled in frustration

"Because HE IS DEAD" He replied in equally frustrated voice

It was as if someone threw ice cold water on her face!

"It can't be" She whispered

"it is..someone got to him a week ago! him and all his accomplices as well! They were tortured before death....looks like he pissed off some mafia here"

she was too shocked to say anything,...

"Mayu...are you there!

"i gotta go__I'll call you later, bye"

By the time she cut the call, her father was there too. She knew he was already in New York for business. It was Zeke called him there probably, even Alec was shocked. When he saw his daughter he pulled her into hug... "darling how are you ?"

she didn't say a word "can you not tell mom!" she just couldn't say anything more, when her father tried to console her, Ezekiel learned it was her first car she bought with her own money, that she used to do two jobs.

No idea, why! Though it came as a surprise to him

He was actually surprised, her father was a business man, they are wealthy enough, she was her parent's only child,.....

they are wealthy for f's sake

whatever belongs to her father will eventually belong her and her cousin in future, she could've joined her father's company, she never needed 2 jobs......

All the way home she was absolutely, utterly and completely silent, her father made some calls to take care of things there.

But Ezekiel was getting agitated and frustrated by her silence, he wanted her to talk, share things with him, he can always buy her a new car that would never be a problem but something told him -- it wasn't just about a car!

He saw her having intense conversation on phone with someone and as much as he wanted to follow her, he did respect her privacy!

so, he didn’t.

when they reached the mansion she got out of the car, didn't even wait for him and went straight to bedroom, took off her overcoat and sat under the ice cold shower with her remaining clothes on. She didn’t even so much of flinched. She just stood there motionless.

to numb her pain, That wasn't even physical, but still lot of pain.

After that day it became just like before,...

before everything changed, between them!

before they started talking,

before they started doing many things other than talking!

Only, this time Mayur was the one  ignoring Ezekiel.

everytime he talks she wouldn't even listen half of it as she would be lost thinking of worst possible future scenarios, sometimes she won't even eat with him or won't eat at all......

all day long!

Or, whenever he tries to seduce her, she won't response like she always does,

and if that wasn't enough,

she attempted to shift back to the room she was in before moving in with him.

''going somewhere again'' He asked tightly

"I'm moving back to my previous room" She mumbled without looking at him

''why'' He asked crossing his arms and narrowing his eyes

"I___just....i need to be alone for awhile"

"You are always alone to the point of anti-social, i don't disturb you, hover over you, don't ask questions when you are out--

so he did noticed, She thought

---but this is where i draw the line, i won't let you do this, i got used to you! you are not any where''

She glared at him challengingly an he matched her stares

"step aside....." She said trying to push him off her way.

"Zeke, please" She whispered in tired voice, looking down.

''Like hell I'll ever let you be alone'' He yelled, he was already sexually frustrated and now this--before she could anticipate his next move she was upside down over his shoulder, she let out a squeak

"....put me down, zekkkke! put me down you brute"

he didn't listen a word, just took her in the bathroom, tore all her clothes off in a blink with his own, turned the shower on and in water so cold, she gasped,... all the fighting became futile when turning her against the wall he entered her with one mighty thrust!

"Ahh" She cried out.

it was probably the longest shower they ever took.

Days passed after that, lately he felt ignored by her and he would often wonder if that's how she felt all those years.....

He was getting angry, insecure even, so he tried to keep himself busy in work until one day another envelop dropped by someone at KING's office for Ezekiel and inside there was pictures of his wife with someone,  a man

AND

All the hell broke loose!

to say Zeke was furious would be an understatement!

5 employees lost their job over a very trivial matter that day. Jared, his manager and Matt, hus secretary, almost forcefully sent him home saying he needed to calm down and for the sake of the other employees' welfare and he'll take care of everything there.
