half past 11, another sleepless nights.......

Mayur opened her tired eyes and let out a sigh, she just couldn't ignore her gut feeling.

something was wrong......

something they were overlooking.

realizing that sleep isn't going to come tonight, she got out of bed,....... got dressed in dark blue skinny jeans, white turtle neck top and leather hoodie jacket. She knew her whole gang was out, clubbing that night, so, she sms-ed Cole that she is coming as well.

There's a fire starting in my heart
Reaching a fever pitch, it's bringing me out the dark..........

as she entered the club she heard one of Adele's famous song being played by Dj......many people were dancing on it's rhythm!

she smiled and shook her head thinking of how blissful ignorance can be.

''Mayuuurrrr.....come here sweety''

not only her's but many head turn to the direction where that shrilly female voice coming from......she smiled waving her hand at her friends before walking past the crowd

"seriously you really had to scream like that.....my ears are ringing" Yohan grumbled beside her

''then how else would she find us......''

''we stuck out like a sore thumb Nat.....she'd see and recognize us anywhere'' Cole joked sipping from his tequilla shot and chuckled darkly before asking Mayuree sarcastically..

''but seriously Mayur.....did Sun rise in the west today or something!''

"ha ha....very funny Cole !

just bored so, i thought I'd join all of you tonight"

''hmm....''

''c'mon Yohan Let's dance.....come oooonnnn'' Natalie literally dragged Yohan to dance and started swaying her hip slowly.

''they look good together'' Cole said admiring the duo

"mmh"

''we'd have....too!'' Cole drawled

Mayur only sighed...."Cole, please"

''i know....i know! you never saw me that way.....but___

''you really love him that much.....don't you ? even after everything ?'' His voice slurred a little

"just how much drunk you are ?" She blinked and frowned

''Mayur Parrish is that you.....!'' a surprised male voice came out of the crowd before it's face.....grinning like a Cheshire cat.

Mayur only gave him a blank stare before recognizing him "Dr. .....Dr. Robin Stevedore ?"

''long time, no see, huh'' he came forward taking her into a surprising hug......only for her to stiffened slightly, she never liked somebody breaching her personal space.

She swallowed and let out a nervous smile before pulled away from him.

"y-yeah....how are you"

''am good....how's married life faring''

"mmh....yeah" She absentmindedly answered

years ago, Dr.Robin Stevedore used to see Natalie velez, they dated for a while, met each other in the hospital where she was going for therapy, he was still a medical student then!

her ex-boss Rain hart used to be his patient as well....she knew because once or twice she booked her appointment, he's a successful eye specialist, practicing here in New York

He only met her once in person by chance and still remember her ? Woow, She thought

impressive memory he had!

''hey, i thought i saw Natalie'' He greeted Cole beside her by nodding at him and nervously rubbed his neck

''yeah...there" Mayur answered pointing at the crowd

''are- are they um....dating or something'' Dr.Robin asked watching Yohan and Natalie dancing around

''we didn't ask......!'' Cole grumbled feeling little annoyed by this sudden interruption

''y-yeah....? oh-kay'' he cleared his throat

even Mayur looked awkwardly at Cole's strange behaviour

''do you want a drink ?'' Cole asked Mayur looking absolutely uninterested in this new stranger

"nope....and i think you should stop too"

Cole only ignored her rolling his eyes, he turned around and got lost in the crowd.....while she looked around with that Dr. still standing beside her.

''y-you know i - i tried really hard to make it work with her'' He remorsefully said

Mayur let out another sigh......"it's in the past.....let it be there"

''she always had her guard up so high. I'm still surprised that even she can look past it today, i mean--

"yeah, i know what you mean..." She replied, her voice hard, hand balling in fist, she was liking the way conversation was going, she was already agitated because she couldn't get sleep and now THIS

"no!"

''b-but...

"i'm sorry Dr. Stevedore but her breaking up with you is not my business. I've no say in that beside it's already over, I won't tolerate you bad mouthing about my girlfriend"

''I'm not ba___Alright fine, Let's not talk about that'' He gave up waving at someone in the crowd
''hey....some of my friends calling over__

"yeah!.....Please carry on"

with that..... he left and Cole popped out of no where grumbling.''fucking finally''

Mayur stood there watching his back, looking lost in her own thought, Cole gave her little nudge ''Mayur....back to earth'' he was waving hand infront of her face

"i- I've --- I've never_____did he just ask me, how my marriage life's faring ?" She whispered, looking horrified as Cole's face turned cold.
