Flashback

'Cole,..'

'Kallan....'
Annison called several times and then came downstairs.

she was walking around slowly and getting irritated because of that......only because doctor told her to rest more, after all It's her first trimester.

in the morning, when she woke up their huge bed was empty......both her husband and son is no where to found.

Even living area is empty......

'where are they ?' She muttered, as she asked servants they said they saw both of them going to the direction of backyard......so, she followed there.

'Left, now Right,...left......Right again!' She heard Kallan's voice coming from backyard as she got closer

Annison stopped at threshold and chuckled watching her husband and son both were half naked......they were according to her, practicing how to do a proper punch or kick maybe ?

Who knows!

Apparently Kallan was on his knees with both his palm open, hand raised little high for Cole......he was trying to throw punch and when he failed using hands, he tried to reach by using his legs.

After trying several times Kallan lowered his palm a little.......he even humoured his son by faking groan every now and then.

the sight was so interesting..... Annison tried her best to stifle her laughter......

Sensing presence behind himself Kallan turned around......he saw how Annison was admiring their duo, he smiled back sweetly. Just when he turned a surprisingly hard punch landed on his face making both Kallan and Cole fall backward.

'Yyaaah' Cole excitedly cried out

'Oomph' while this time Kallan's groan was absolutely natural

Thud.......

Annison's head rolled back as her laughter rang through whole backyard. She was thoroughly enjoyed this.

'Mom....look, i fought and won'

'Very good, darling..... You are progressing every day'

''Son, that was unfair'' Kallan groaned in protest,

'Why dad.....you said yesterday that your enemies would never play fair on you ?'

'true' Annison said looking at both of them

Kallan hurrumped.......
''But let me tell you one thing son......... sometimes instead of using your fist, use your brain!

Trust me there would be many situation where you have to fight with your mind''

'Like chess ?' He innocently asked

''Yes! just like chess''

''Alright, enough practice now.......come back inside! And then I'm gonna my boys a sumptuous breakfast'' Annison sang

Mayuree has been reinstated right after she was proved innocent.

but after she revealed that there might be another bomb waiting to be exploded somewhere.....safe to say that news left everyone jittery, every agent was somewhat worried, because if there is a bomb, it could be anywhere.....

but where ?

Will they loose their loved ones again?

What is it waiting for ?

some were still convinced that Mayur was bluffing because back to back bombings rarely happens, especially when security is so active investigations still going on fast track, Guards everywhere are alert, agents working in civil dresses.

Marianna Shaw was fully convinced from the very first day she heard of it, she never believed that Mayur was capable of such heinous act......

whoever did this, help came from inside directly or indirectly, there was a traitor among them, that's for sure.
Because every agent's personal info was hidden, secured and no one from the outside world could have collected Mayur's fingerprints and her past information without having access to the FBI database and her assumption was believable because FBI got an anonymous tip right before the bomb went off.

and the tip was someone from Mayur's own batch had planned this, no specifics!

alas! it was too late to do anything.

But when the FBI found Mayur lying on the spot, from where bomb got detonated, of course they thought it was her.

funny thing was that informer was literally dangling her infront of them to grab and throw her in jail.

that's why, Marianna and Kallan secretly planned an off the grid secret investigation with Mayur.....since she was off the hook, she is to mingle with every agent and work with them just like before, keep them busy enough, buy Marianna and Kallan time so they can look into every single employee's file.

because something wasn't adding up,.....when they trained, they were so busy all day, every day, either in field training or in doing home works in their dorms. None of her batch mates got that much time to spy on someone like that.

And It was meticulously planned attack, no loopholes.

who knows if this secret informer told them the truth or not. None of them had any idea who it was. So, she suggested them that if they are really checking on everyone.....then why not the trainers of her batch as well.

Just a hunch!

after a weeks of non-stop searching, they finally found the bomb in one of the five-star hotel, where some foreign delegates were staying.

at first she didn’t want to go, that hotel belongs to the KING'S.

but her curiosity got the best of her and
Bomb was successfully defused before Mayur reached there just to inspect it, only to realize that it was a bomb but not THE BOMB she was expecting.......

she paled again!

''Thank god we found the bomb on time'' Marianna sighed with relief

''But Marianna it is not the same bomb'' She whispered looking around her

''WHAT.....what are you talking about!''

''Marianna, i told the bomb squad open it.....! Just to check the wires i found in my apartment.''

''And''

''It is not made with the wire i found''

''Mayur....you are thinking too much now, that wire was probably nothing but still, you told us that there would be another bomb in the city and now we found it,

now just relax! everyone is safe.

Okay! why don't you take remained hour off, take rest, you have been working tirelessly for too long"

''But Marianna___''

''No but...now go home, I'm going home too, by''

And she had to go home but somehow she wasn't really convinced about this whole situation,

it was too easy finding it, isn’t it ?
