at first they had zero idea about any upcoming attack, but now that Not only her hunch about the second bomb being out, proved correct but also they found it in mere two weeks of time.

was it kind of luring everyone into false sense of security ? And THAT DAY she had no idea, how right she was about that too.

At King's company......

Ezekiel didn't know what to do now, he's going crazy, at first he was angry because of what she did --- what he thought she did.

but right now he had nothing to be angry about, if he doesn’t count her hiding the questionable past.

He remembered how much she cried that day, how scared, helpless she looked, how no one listened to her because of those pictures, how he didn’t even let her come closer to him.

he was so wrong and he doesn't know where to find her and even if he does he had no idea how he would approach her,.....

but how could he think clearly when jealousy already consumed him, over powered him in a way he never thought was possible.

he tried to ignore it first yes, but when he noticed she was hiding something and then after bombing she disappeared for few days he thought she went to the that man named Noah Miller.

He had a hard time admitting the fact to himself that he divorced her only because of those pictures where she was seen with Noah Miller, because he thought she was cheating on him and NOT because of her involvement in any bombing. He was angry because she didn't come to him when she was in trouble, he is her husband for god sake!

And this time he had to know everything about her.....

He couldn't really call Yohan and he certainly did not want to call Natalie judging by those vicious glares she was sending him previous day, he knew she would not help him a bit so, Cole it was.

Beside who could be better than him, after all he is FBI deputy director Kallan Shepherd's son who he heard helped Mayur in this case as well . So he called and asked him scratch that.... REQUESTED HIM to come to his office at lunch hour or they can meet outside somewhere as he knew how all of her friends were upset with him, he didn’t think he would be allowed at their workplace again

Jared informed via intercom that Mr.Cole shepherd is here, Zeke asked him to led him in.

"Mr.Shepherd....please have a seat" He greeted, shutting down his laptop

''what more do you want to know ?''
Cole asked him directly with a blank face.

woow....straight to the point! Ezekiel thought. However, for a moment he wandered if this agent's rude aura and straightforwardness had anything to do with his profession or was it personal.!

another spark of jealousy flared up again but balling his palm in a fist he took a deep breath and threw ice cold water in them, he pulled out an envelope opened it and placed some pictures out in front of him and asked ''do you know him ?''

''Noah Miller ? where did you find these pictures ? He is a special agent as well

This pictures are really old, like 4/5 years old, it was maybe taken at a party in my house ! Where did you find them ? i don't remember we called any news channel, it was a private event'' Cole confusedly asked

'Fucking nobody.....he was bloody obsessed with her, always following her even when we were in training in the academy, she went on what__one date with him only once because he insisted but after i found out that he was married and informed her, she stopped talking to him all together.

At that party Noah tried to kiss her forcefully, Someone must have clicked these pictures then, when his wife found them together she made a scene without giving her a chance to explain, even accused her of ruining her marriage"

''that fucking bastard probably is the reason she had to go through everything. I wouldn't say it out loud outside but we have suspicions that he is the one who kidnapped her, placed her at bombing site, placed all the evidence against her in different places to prove her guilty....OUT OF SPITE''

''Any idea why ?'' His eyes was hard, he asked in a dead cold voice

''he confessed some incoherent things under influence of drugs in hospital after the surgery about someone threatening  his child's life on phone.....he was forced to do something....  Though we had no idea about any of it,......can be a lie who knows, he was a very convincing liar, we witnessed it ourselves''

''How is my wife'' He whispered and swallowed hard, looking away

"Ex wife, Mr.King" He sneered tauntingly

''DOESN'T MATTER...'' Zeke snapped back

''The other day when i met Mr.Qureshi, i asked how he met Mayur, he said it was fate...''

''A fate indeed Mr.King! If it wasn't for him...A fucker would have raped her! She was only 8 years old Mr.King.

Not everyone was that fortunate. He....we saved her that day!

guilt started burdening Zeke even more than before, like somebody just dropped huge size rock him, he just can't bare it's weight

balling his fist he swallowed hard and looked away, he never once interrupted Cole for taunting him.
