After Birthday party,........

Yohan was a bit cranky, Natalie noticed but didn't say anything as she thought it was because he was tired from all the back and forth work and party prep. So, she went to him and asked.......
''hey, are you ok!''

''Yeah!....and you ?'' He replied and asked back in gruff voice looking at her intently

''I...i'm Okay'' She only stuttered without meeting his eyes. Yohan just hurmmed and left from there.

On the other side when Mayur fully realized that no one except her own and Ezekiel's family knew about anything related divorce,...just like Ezekiel never disclosed anything to anybody about their marriage, he never disclosed anything about divorce either and she was pissed at that

And here he was,....acting like everything between them is rainbow and unicorn. All smiling, talking to her family and other guests, even offered to drop the whole family, home.

Which home !? the thought popped in

slowly she distant herself from the crowd......only because if one more time someone asks her to dance with her or him, she is going to faint.....so she got out of the restaurant before anyone sees her to get some fresh air and look for her friends but it seems Natalie and Yohan left, then she saw Cole and Mrs.Shepherd coming out, looks like they were about to leave as well.

she turned and gave both a soft smile and a nod. ''Ms.Parrish!'' Senator Shepherd said

"Hello, Mam'' She greeted politely

''It's been sooo long since I've been to any family party,......i have to say I've enjoyed it very much'' Senator gracefully said

''Umm...thank you mam. Although if only Cole told us you’d be coming here,....But then, i had no idea about this party either'' She chuckled

''I'm really proud of you....you know! for everything you did back then....not everyone in your shoe can stay this strong after whatever you've been through in past and in this few months.....Happy birthday again, dear.'' Senator sincerely wished her, leaving from there while Cole stood there beside Mayur

"umm...

"you look nice in that" Cole complimented on her look

Mayur chuckled...."thanks"

"i often forget that you are a girl, you know!" He quipped... only for Mayur to openly scowl at him.

and she was just about to punch him on his shoulder when the Senator called. "Cole...Let's go! It's getting late."

"yes, Mom......" He rolled his eyes, he turned and said. "by the way....Happy birthday, once again"

slowly, everyone started to leave and at the end......Mayur seemed lost in thoughts and didn't notice when Ezekiel came from behind until,......
"Beta...Let's go! It's already past 12. Zeke you are coming too, son ?" Her mother, Noyon Parrish asked while behind her ; her Baba Alec Parrish, her ex father in law Richard King and Farhana and her husband came out

"yeah, you should" Ferdousi  enthusiastically matched their mother's tone

Recently her whole family is staying in New York....at their newly bought house because Mayur wasn’t ready to go back to California.

as Ferdousi already lives here with her husband, so the parents had no problem with both their daughter staying in their house....just for few days!

Alec insisted on moving in to the new house they bought a few years ago, Noyon recently just finish with it’s interior decorations.
