Alice Pov:
A week had passed, a silent void where Risa's presence once graced my office. Her absence lingered, an unanswered question in the back of my mind. Yet, tomorrow, a new chapter unfolded. We were celebrating our new business venture, a testament to our shared vision.
As I sat in the garden, lost in contemplation, the gentle rustle of leaves mirroring the turmoil within me, Mayor Dong's sudden appearance startled me.
"ahhh... Anak Ka Ng Kapre jusko ka mayor dong?!!! " I exclaimed, my heart pounding in my chest. He was chuckling, a mischievous twinkle in his eyes.
"Sorry, sorry. I just wanted to make you shout, napatahimik mo Kase eh" he said, his laughter a contagious melody.
"At Pano ka na Naman nakapasok Dito " I asked, rolling my eyes, a playful retort escaping my lips.
"Your maid let me in," he said, a grin spreading across his face.
"ISTORBO KAHIT KAILAN" I teased, but there was a warmth in my tone.
He held out a pink bouquet, my favorite shade, and I couldn't help but accept. It was as if he knew how to soothe my troubled heart.
"Gov. for you,OH " he said, his eyes filled with admiration.
"Thank you," I replied, my voice softer than usual.
"napakaganda mo Talaga Gov. Kahit Anong Gawin Kong Pagtitig Sayo Napakaganda mo" he said, his gaze lingering on me.
"Ano na namang drugs Ang ininom mo? " I said, a blush creeping up my neck.
"No, I'm being sincere, napakaganda mo" he insisted.
"Hmm," I murmured, a sense of contentment washing over me.
"So kamusta Naman ang governor kong Maganda?" he asked, concern etched in his voice.
"I'm Okay Ang corny mo magtanong " I said, unable to suppress a smile.
"Corny, huh? What if I asked you out on a date tonight?" he said, hope flickering in his eyes.
"Ayoko madami Akong gagawin" I said, declining politely.
"Maybe we could just have dinner dito then?" he suggested, his smile unwavering.
"hay Ewan Do whatever you want," I said, unsure how to respond to his persistent charm.
"Okay, I'll be there tonight," he said, his smile widening.
We talked for a while, the air buzzing with laughter and playful banter. He was simply a friend, I reminded myself, but there was a warmth that surrounded him, a sense of ease that I couldn't quite explain. As he left, I was left with a lingering sense of anticipation, the night promising a new chapter in our story.

As dusk settled over the city, painting the sky in hues of lavender and gold, I stood by the pool, my gaze lost in the infinite expanse above. It was then that I saw Mayor Dong's car pulling up to the gate, the headlights cutting through the twilight."nag punta Talaga Siya Ewan " I breathed, a mixture of surprise and anticipation washing over me.
I rushed down to greet him, opening the gate with a flurry of movement. "Ang Lakas Talaga Ng Tama Mo Sakin Ano? " I said, my voice laced with playful exasperation.
"Sobra pa Sa sobra" he replied, his eyes twinkling with a mischievous glint.
He stepped out of the car, a charming smile gracing his lips, and together, we ascended to the rooftop, where the city lights twinkled like scattered jewels beneath us. The air was crisp, infused with the scent of blooming night jasmine.
