Jake winced as he shifted on the couch, his injured knee throbbing with each movement.

He had pushed himself too hard during practice, trying to keep up with the intense choreography, but now the consequences were hitting him full force.

The sharp, familiar pain shot through his leg, and he bit his lip to keep from groaning.

"Jake, are you okay?" Sunghoon asked, noticing the grimace on Jake's face as he made his way across the living room.

He set the cup of tea he'd been holding on the counter before walking over, concern evident in his eyes.

Jake gave a half-hearted smile, shaking his head. "Yeah, I'm fine. Just my knee acting up again."

"Heeseung hyung already told you to rest," Sunghoon reminded him, helping him sit down on the couch carefully. "You're not fine, are you?"

Jake sighed and shook his head. "I didn't want to make a fuss, but it's worse than usual."

The rest of the members had started to gather around, drawn by the quiet conversation. Jungwon stepped forward first, his face set with determination.

"Let's take care of this now before it gets worse. We're here for you, Jake hyung."

Jay, who had been sitting quietly in the corner, gave a supportive nod. "We know you hate being babied, but right now, we need to make sure you rest properly."

"Yeah, yeah," Jake muttered, half-smiling but grateful for their concern. "I guess I could use a little help."

Heeseung, the oldest, came over next, the authoritative tone of a leader in his voice despite his gentle demeanor.

"We're not letting you push through this like you did last time. If you keep this up, you'll end up hurting yourself more."

Jake's shoulders sagged. He didn't want to admit it, but he was starting to feel a bit defeated by the constant pain. "I know, I know."

"Let's get you comfortable," Sunghoon said, gently adjusting the pillows behind Jake's back. "We'll take care of the rest."

Sunoo appeared beside Heeseung with an ice pack, holding it out to Jake. "Here, hyung. This should help with the swelling."

Jake hesitated for a moment but then took it, grateful for their attention. "Thanks, Sunoo. You guys are way too nice to me."

"We're just looking out for you, Jake hyung," Jungwon said, his voice steady but warm. "You do enough for all of us, so we need to take care of you now."

Ni-ki, who had been watching the whole scene, looked to Jake for reassurance. "You'll get better, right? Just rest, and it'll heal soon."

Jake chuckled softly, nodding. "Yeah, I guess I'll have to listen to you guys for once." His tone softened, and he glanced around at his members, grateful for their support.

"Thanks, everyone. I'll rest up, I promise."

The members settled around him, making sure Jake was comfortable and everything he needed was within reach.

As the evening wore on, Jake found himself laughing and chatting with them, the weight of his injury a little less heavy with the care and concern they were showing him.

And for the first time in a while, he allowed himself to relax, knowing he didn't have to face it all on his own.
