"tobio, where'd you put my bag?" seishun's voice echoed through the apartment, cutting through the soft rustling of papers.
from the other room, kageyama's deep voice called back, slightly muffled but filled with focus. "i put it in my closet."
seishun hummed in acknowledgment, her footsteps light as she made her way to his bedroom. whistling a carefree tune, she pulled open the closet doors. sure enough, her bag sat nestled among kageyama's belongings. but just as she reached for it, something else caught her eye. her hand froze mid-air, and her breath hitched in surprise.
her gaze landed on a stack of papers, and her jaw dropped.
kageyama, oblivious, remained in the living room, his nose buried deep in a textbook. he flinched, however, when something was thrown onto the table with a sharp smack. "what the hell?" he mumbled, startled, his heart pounding as he glanced up.
when he did, he was met with an unexpected—and rather frightening—sight. seishun stood in front of him, arms crossed, her foot tapping impatiently on the floor. her brows were furrowed together, and she looked downright furious.
kageyama blinked, clearly confused. "why do you look so mad?" he asked cautiously. "what did I do?"
without a word, seishun pointed to the stack of papers she had thrown onto the desk. her tone was sharp as she demanded, "kageyama tobio, would you like to explain yourself?"
there was no room for argument.
kageyama set his textbook aside and picked up the papers, thumbing through them. as he recognized the contents, an unapologetic grin spread across his face. "oh, you found my collection?" he teased, leaning back in his chair, his voice playful. "pretty impressive, right?"
seishun dragged a hand down her face, her frustration growing. "explain why you have every magazine feature of me from the last ten years."
kageyama's grin widened as he flicked through the pictures of her, some old and others more recent. he even found a particularly awkward photo from when she was thirteen, which he proudly held up. "why not?" he said with a shrug. "they're of my fiancée. besides, you were cute. adorable, actually."
her eyes narrowed in exasperation. she snatched the stack from his hands with a huff. "i'm flushing these down your toilet."
kageyama's eyes widened in alarm. he shot up from his seat, panic setting in. "you can't!" he protested, his voice rising as he hurried after her.
seishun made a beeline for the bathroom, but kageyama, with his longer legs, quickly caught up. he wrapped one arm around her waist, halting her progress as he reached for the papers. "let go," seishun huffed, squirming against his grip. "these are getting deleted from existence."
"absolutely not," kageyama protested, his hold tightening. "these are my prized possessions! you have no right!"
seishun twisted in his arms, glaring up at him. "i sure as hell have a right when they're ugly pictures of me from when i was thirteen!" she shot back.
kageyama gasped dramatically as if he were the one who had been insulted. "never say that again!" he demanded, clearly offended. "you were so cute! even cuter now, but still so cute!"
seizing the opportunity, seishun stomped on his foot, causing him to yelp in pain and loosen his grip just long enough for her to slip away. she darted towards the balcony, a mischievous glint in her eye.
"hey!" kageyama called out, wincing as he hurried after her. "i thought you said you were flushing them!"
"i'm throwing them off the balcony!" she shouted back, now more determined than ever. the small body of water outside his apartment glimmered in the afternoon sun, and she envisioned the photos sinking to the bottom, never to be seen again.
