"do you really mean it?"

there was a mixture of different emotions on kageyama's face. shock, awe, disbelief, and most importantly, love. he looked like a kid on christmas day.

"yes, dummy," seishun laughed. brushing a dark strand of hair out of his eyes, seishun placed a light kiss above his eye. "i love you, tobio. so, so, much."

like he couldn't believe it, kageyama could only stare at seishun. "you...love me," he mumbled. it was the last thing he would've expected to come out of her mouth.

kageyama thought that seishun would've told atsumu he just wasn't her type. or that she wanted them to stay friends. but for seishun to have even mentioned kageyama was surprising. for her to tell atsumu she loved kageyama was mind-blowing.

"are you that surprised?" she had truly never seen kageyama so speechless.

kageyama ran a hand through his head of black hair. surprisingly, he looked...troubled. "i didn't pressure you, did i?" he anxiously said. kageyama didn't look into seishun's eyes. his gaze was dancing all over her room. "you didn't feel like you had to say it, just 'cause i did, did you? because i never meant to pressure you, i just—"

kageyama was cut off by a pair of lips. seishun's lips, to be specific.

stunned, kageyama froze up. but at the familiar feeling of seishun's kiss, kageyama immediately moved to react. with his grip on her waist, kageyama pulled her up to sit on his lap. warm, strong hands ran up and down her waist.

they kissed softly, a silent conveyance of their feelings for each other. seishun's hands cupped his jaw, her dainty touch making his heart beat rapidly. she melted into him, feeling like puddy in his grasp.

kageyama made her feel so many things. she felt safe in his presence because he was always looking out for her. she felt loved in his presence because he always gave her his utmost attention. she felt respected in his presence because he acknowledged and helped better her skills.

pulling away to take a breath, seishun gazed into his worried eyes. her heart ached at how anxious he was. "dummy, you didn't pressure me into anything," seishun whispered. bumping her forehead with his, seishun didn't fight the smile that bloomed on her lips. "is it that hard to believe that i feel the same way?"

a look of relief appeared on kageyama's face. "i just," he began, struggling to find the right words, "am speechless. i don't...i don't know what to say."

with a teasing smile, seishun placed a kiss on his nose. "how about saying it back?" seishun cooed, chuckling when kageyama's eyes widened.

"i love you, ryuen seishun," he said in an instant. the words rolled off his tongue without any hesitation and difficulty.

seishun's smile went from ear to ear. "that's more like it."

kageyama closed the distance between them and kissed her again. nibbling her lips, kageyama pulled away for the briefest moment. "your turn," he breathed, staring into her eyes. "say it again."

"i love you," seishun whispered, arms wrapped around his shoulders.

kageyama's eyes flashed with adoration. he pulled her as close as he could, kissing her with more intensity than before. no longer innocently nibbling, kageyama's tongue prodded at her lips. they parted, almost naturally, and their lips danced in a not-so-innocent tangle of motions.

seishun felt her desire for kageyama begin to grow, tugging at her mind. when his hand slipped under the hem of her shirt, innocently brushing against her bare skin, seishun shivered. "tobio," seishun breathed.
