Three days later, as Minsi was walking along college campus with her backpack slung over her back, she came to a slow halt. Across the path, there was Felix and he looked pissed with darkened furrowed brows and a clenched jaw. His arms were crossed over his body and Minsi wanted to turn around and run, but it was too late. He already spotted her and there was nothing she could do.

She just walked out of Professor Bang's lecture. Her fingers curled around the strap of her book bag and she shifted through all the different excuses in her head, but none of them were good enough. Fellow students scattered in different directions behind her.

She knew and now Felix knew that she lied. She wasn't attending the highly prestigious and religious faith-filled campus back at Providence. She was still attending courses and still enrolled at Acadia University. How in the world he found out, she didn't know, but she knew that she was screwed.

When she didn't walk towards him, he moved towards her. Her brain screamed at her to run, but she knew it wouldn't matter. If he already told her mother, she'd be fucked. She'd be forced to switch schools and she'd have to give all of this up.

The thought made her want to cry. She loved Acadia and she loved the town. She loved taking psychology and studying classes without being reminded of God. She liked the mass majority of her professors and she enjoyed living with Han and Minho.

Lately, the three had turned Friday nights into movie nights. They'd order pizza and pop popcorn. After spending nearly ten minutes arguing, two would give up and the third would place a DVD in the DVD player. They'd gorge themselves and fall asleep on the L-shaped couch with their fingers still greased and salted.

Would all of that be gone now? Was it far too late? Did she teeter too close to the edge? Was this God's way of giving her some sort of twisted revenge?

"Minsi?" Felix grumbled as he stepped forward.

She swallowed the nerves building up and glanced over at him. "Felix," she weakly responded. She wanted to stand tall and puff her chest out. She wanted to act like nothing was wrong, but she couldn't. She was terrified that this simple paradise would be ripped away from her.

"So you and Jeongin-"

"I shouldn't have," she quickly spat out. "I know, it was stupid and wrong. You have no idea how much I've thought about it and I feel awful about it."

"You know he's a priest, so why did you try to get with him?" His eyes narrowed at her. The intense gaze made her want to squirm away, but she held her chin high.

"Because at that moment, I wasn't really thinking about it. We met up and I just-" She shrugged, "it wasn't supposed to turn into that. I think you already know that I really like Jeongin."

"I want you to stay away from him from now on."

"What?"

"Just until things between you two cool down. You're making him turn against God and that's not right. You have to stop meeting him alone and if you want to see him, you can start by regularly attending church every Sunday morning."

All she could do was weakly nod. She couldn't believe she was giving into the wishes of some random guy that she didn't really know, but she didn't want to stop seeing Jeongin. Despite everything, some part of her truly liked him.

He studied her in silence after his voice cut out. She met his gaze and just went she started to think, by some miracle, that she was free of his scrutiny, he spat it out. "I thought you were attending Providence University, so why are yo-"

"Felix?" A voice called from behind her. She spun around at the sound of a voice. Her eyes widened when she saw Hyunjin making her way towards them. The panic in her bones began to build up again.
