After a lot of time spent building up courage, Y/N left the small bathroom that she used to freshen herself up after a heart-racing, romantic moment with Michael.

Y/N sat on the unoccupied living room couch and fidgeted with the skin around her fingers while she waited patiently for Hannibal to return home. He wouldn't be too long, would he? She needed his help right away, the second he steps through that door she will be all over him like bumble bees on flowers.

...

..

.

Hours passed by and the sun had trailed below the horizon as night time crept upon the land.
Y/N still sat in the same spot she had been since she first sat on the couch, only now she was slumped against the rouge velvet couch and was becoming very impatient.

Norman came down to check on her for a little while, but eventually went off to his bedroom. That was 2 hours ago.
Which is exactly where Y/n wanted to be in that moment of unending boredom - to be in her room.

'I knew Michael said Hannibal wouldn't be home till later, but this is getting ridiculous! Where could he possibly be?'
Y/N thought it herself.

Just as she felt herself about to lose her patience entirely and just head to her room, a click of the front door was heard throughout the echoey home.

Y/N immediately whipped her head around at the sound and nearly jumped from her spot, running to the door to see if it was the man she had been waiting up for.
To her luck, it was him. Standing with neat clothes with not one wrinkle to be spotted on his black suit, and long black trench coat over top to soothe the chills of the colder night weather.

"Hannibal! Thank goodness you're back, finally!"
Y/N called to him, running up to the tall and sophisticated man.
"I need to speak a with you right now,"

Y/N spoke in a more hushed voice, wanting this to be between just the two souls in the room - her wand Hannibal.

While Hannibal calmly took off his coat to place it to rest on the coat hanger, he made eye contact with Y/N, amusement present in his unwavering gaze.

"Do you now? What exactly would this conversation be about, dear?"
Hannibal questioned the smooth S/C skinned woman.

Y/N glanced around to make sure no unwanted presences were listening in.
"I need to speak with you, in your office."

"Why are you whispering, Y/N?"
Hannibal said, matching the tone of voice Y/N was using.

"Just follow me, please."
Y/N spoke firmly and grasped Hannibal's hand, pulling him along with her to his office at the far end of the large home.

The now brand new door to his office closed smoothly behind the two and Y/N began telling him what she needed from him.

"I need you to find someone for me."
Y/N said, now allowing her voice to be slightly more audible.

"Pardon me?"
Hannibal said, in bewilderment at the sudden strange demand.

Why would she need to track someone down?

"I know it sounds weird and sort of...creepy..but I swear it's for good reason."
Y/N explained shortly.

"And what reason would this be, mon ange?"
Hannibal leaned against his smooth, oak desk, crossing his arms over his chest. His gaze never leaving Y/N's eyes.

"Could you, just this once, do it without doing the interrogating?"
Y/N said, losing more and more patience by the second.
