Y/n's POV:

" Are you alright, Y/n?" Harry asked with concern, watching as she snapped back to reality, sitting on the bench in the greenery space with her knees to her chest. Y/n nodded, trying to smile but failed miserably. Hermione sat beside Y/n, " We know you're not alright, please stop lying," She pleaded, showing nothing but worry.

Y/n has never been treated in such a kind way before ever since she was captured. It felt strange. The only person who was ever nice to her here was Narcissa, so it was strange to see them care. Hermione pulled her into a tight hug, the action made Y/n's tears fall like waterfalls as she hugged back tighter.

Hermione expected this and allowed her to cry on her shoulder, giving Y/n's back soothing rubs. Fae tears were made of pure gold, so when the tears of gold rolled down Y/n's cheeks, Harry gasped and quickly grabbed a cloth and placed them against her cheeks, the white cloth soaking up the gold.

Soon her sobs turned into sniffles, pulling away and wiping her golden tears with the damp cloth.
" Sorry, it's just that I miss them so much," Y/n spoke, her voice cracking from the emotion she had just expressed. Hermione looked up at her two male friends then back at Y/n, " You didn't tell us that your parents are the King and Queen of the Fae? " Ron asked, which resulted in him getting elbowed by Harry.

Y/n wiped her golden tears, her eyes not just puffy and red from crying. Y/n replied with a small smile, staring at the stained cloth, " I didn't want to tell anyone because imagine how many other wizards and witches would want to steal me from Lucius now? The news is already starting to spread from class," Y/n exclaimed, glancing at the few people that walked past whispering about her, staring at her in pure fear and shock.

" We'll protect you, Y/n, there's nothing to worry about. You're our friend now, and friends stick together," Harry reassured with a small smile, placing his hand over hers and giving it a small squeeze. Y/n sniffled, thanking him with a true smile. He wondered how she could be so beautiful even whilst crying, then he had to stop himself from wondering such a thought.

After Y/n had her moment, they all decided to go to the dorms to chill before next lesson. On the way, Y/n had gotten lost since she nipped to the bathroom, telling them that she's meet them there. Confused, she walked into a room to hear muffled sobs in the room. She walked towards the sobs to see a sight she'd never thought she'd see.

Draco was sobbing through pain and frustration, his eyes red and puffy and his platinum blonde hair all messy. He didn't have his robe on, so it was just a long sleeved shirt and black pants.
In this moment Y/n realised Draco wasn't as bad as people say he is. He has feelings. Emotions that he's kept inside for so long. And at some point everyone does have a breaking point.

" Draco?" Y/n asked, her voice soft and soothing, but also laced with a bit of confusion. He stopped, turning around and snapping his head towards Y/n, clearly surprised by her presence.
He glared, or tried to, and quickly wiped his tears, " What do you want? Spying on me, flighty fae girl," His voice was shaky, not as cocky as it usually is, but Y/n saw the pain in his eyes.
The same pain that's always within hers.

" What's wrong?" Y/n asked, worried as she stepped toward, ignoring the nickname. Draco seemed to get pissed off by the question, but no one has ever asked him such a question. Nobody cared for him. Nobody cared about his feelings or noticed how he was truly feeling. So a few more tears shed through his small glare at her question, " It's nothing to do with you! Now leave, I want to be alone!" He yelled, his voice becoming more shakier by the second.

Y/n continued to ignore him, which only confused and frustrated him more. " What are you-?" He was interrupted by her forcefully pulling him into a tight hug. She didn't care that his Father had her life in his hands. All she cared about was making sure he was alright. She knows what this overwhelming feeling is. The urge to speak but nothing comes out because she thinks that nobody cares. It can get both physically and emotionally draining.

His entire body tensed underneath Y/n's embrace, his breath stopping for a split second. He's never experienced a true hug before and in some ways - it felt nice. He hated himself for hugging her back tightly, his sobs muffled into the crook of her neck. He hated himself  for feeling so weak and vulnerable.
" It's okay, let it all out, " Y/n soothed, her voice soft and kind, showing no judgement.

Draco felt his whole body relax as he let out his suppressed pain and emotions, his large arms wrapping around her smaller frame. Since she was shorter than him. After a few minutes, he forced himself to pull away and wiped his tears.

" If you say anything about this, I'll make sure that my Father destroys your life source," Draco threatened, but it wasn't as cocky as usual.
Y/n nodded before walking out, smiling to herself that she was finally seeing the true side of Draco, even if it was broken and down. She promised herself that she will fix that and not let him suffer alone.

Even though Draco had a break down even though he hated to admit it. He felt a lot better. Especially the warmth and affection Y/n gave him. He felt whole.
" Damn Fae girl," He muttered in frustration.
