Y/n's POV:It was the day of the first trial. Y/n hasn't spoken to Draco ever since the moment they shared two days ago, and honestly, it's been bothering her since. What would have happened if Hermione didn't interrupt? She would never know, but Draco has also been limiting contact with her.
The action did make her heart twist a little, but she ignored it and tried to keep her mind on the trials. She waited in the tent for approval to go. The first trial was for her to fight a dragon. It was against her nature as a Fae to battle against them. They're considered ancient and worshiped being in her faith within her Kingdom, so she refused to battle a dragon. Dumbledore understood and instead would be fighting a giant serpent with teeth as long as a toddler and is the height of a dragon.
After hearing the other school tournament players fight the dragon with both fear and determination. It was Y/n's turn. When she entered the arena, it was surrounded with all the students who were cheering her name. The arena within was full of rocks and grass. Her target was to achieve the egg that was sat on top of a large rock in the centre.
She looked around the crowd, and her gaze met with Malfoy. They stared into each other's eyes, feeling as if they were the only one in the arena.
Malfoy tried to hide it, but she saw right through him, he was worried and concerned for her health. She forced her gaze away when she heard the familiar sound of scales scraping against the rock. From the deep hole arose a large, snake that had a chain wrapped around its neck. Its mouth was large enough to swallow an elephant whole and its teeth were sharper than anything she has ever seen before. But being raised deep within the forbidden forest, her kingdom, taught her that defeating beasts was easier than it looked. The key was to possess the right amount of skill to do so.
Y/n inhaled deeply, trying to breathe away the nerves that formed in the pit of her stomach and whispered Fae language. The water around them that was in the ground, in the grass, in the rocks and in the atmosphere was all absorbed into the palm of her hand. The students sat down, gasping in awe and amazement at the sight.
Draco watched carefully, hoping that she was going to be alright. In her hand, the water began to freeze to solid ice instantly as she manipulated to form a sword. The sword was made of pure ice, but it was sharp enough to cut through anything if used properly with the right amount of force and strength that was applied to it.
In that moment, Riaz grinned, because she looked like a true Queen. The look in her eye was from her Father when he was always on the battle field, glaring at his enemies with pure malice and determination to win. He chuckled, leaning back into his chair, " You'll be a great Queen. This will be over easy," He muttered.
The snake instantly attacked her, its large teeth separating as it opened its jaw to try and devour her. Y/n swiftly dodged, easily predicting the movement and slashed its body with the sword. The snake let out a loud screech of pain as blood stained the sword and the ground, some even splattering on her cheek. However it wasn't enough to entirely defeat it.
So she decided to use a move she hasn't used in a while, something that was rare for water manipulators. Blood bending. Within our blood cells was water minerals used for the body, and every living being - human or animal - has it stored within them.
She let her sword turn back to water and threw it on the floor, ignoring the confused looks from the audience. Y/n ignored the pouncing off the snake, ready to attack once again, and everyone stayed silent as they gasped from how close it was to making her into a meal. But then stopped midway. Y/n's hand turned left, making the snake move left as it had no choice but to oblige, screeching in pain as she did.
Riaz watched in horror, his breath shaky,
" There's no way. A blood manipulator? " He asked himself. Hermione and Ron looked confused by his statement but couldn't tare their gaze away from the scene before them. It was like Y/n was the master and the snake was the puppet. Then Y/n snapped the neck of the snake, making it drop dead on the floor. Y/n climbed up the small rocky hill and grabbed the golden egg. Everyone erupted into cheers and yelled her name, celebrating with happiness and joy.
Draco let out a small sigh of relief, the heavy worry of her safety now off his chest.Y/n opened the golden egg in her tent a few minutes later and within was a glass bottle that was shaped as a heart. There was red liquid inside that was as red as blood. She knew exactly what it was because they were extremely rare to find.
Elixir.
With just one drop, it could heal any illness or wound on a human being, but not a mythical creature such as a Fae or a unicorn. It only works on humans. She placed it in her bag, smiling from how proud she felt of herself.
The tent curtains opened and Harry ran over to her, pulling her into a tight hug and spinning her around, grinning, " I knew you could do it! I never had a doubt," Y/n chuckled, but she tensed at his touch, feeling nothing when he did. She had no reaction other than an awkward giggle, thanking him. Hermione narrowed her eyes at
Y/n, in which she picked up on and looked at the floor in guilt. Remembering the threat Hermione gave to her.Riaz crossed his arms seriously, his voice and his aura intimidating and pissed off,
" You didn't tell me you were a blood manipulator,"
