Chapter 15

Y/n's POV:

" You have got to be kidding me," Riaz commented, his face with pure shock and disappointment as he let out a large exhale, burring his face in his hands. Y/n had asked him about the tickling feeling in her stomach when she thinks about Draco and the way her cheeks go warm.
" What? Is it bad?" Y/n asked worriedly, not exactly liking his reaction. She watched as Riaz moved his hair back out of frustration but then calmed himself down from being riled up by her stupidity.

He just chuckled at how stupid she was when it came to romantic feelings. He looked at Y/n,
" You're falling in love, Y/n, I wouldn't say love but you're attracted to him," Y/n's face drained from colour from pure shock, her breath hitching in her throat as her body tensed. There was no way, right? She couldn't be falling for him.
He was the son of the man who had her life in his hands. He was the one who threatened to spread a rumour around and break her only friendship if she didn't do as he says.

But in the end, deep down, she knew that he wasn't a bad person. Just someone who was raised in a hard, tough environment and forced to become someone he's not. Maybe that's the reason why she had suddenly allowed these feelings without realising. Because she related to him. Keeping emotions within so she doesn't worry others and seems weak and vulnerable. Especially as the future Queen of Fae.

And that desperate ambition to help him with these feelings have driven her to fall for him.
Despite this, she had to admit, Draco was an attractive person. With shaggy, platinum blonde hair that was always neatly styled and sharp, facial features. Not to mention those captivating, grey eyes. All those thoughts made her realise that she was falling for him without even realising it.

Riaz just laughed in amusement,
" You're such a virgin! I can't believe you didn't realise," Y/n hit him in the arm, blushing from embarrassment and telling him to shut his mouth. It was true though. She has never once been with or hooked up with a guy - Fae or human. And sometimes, since Riaz was the type of guy girls would die for, he would always make fun of her in a banter sort of way.

" That's a good thing. I'm not planning on getting pregnant anytime soon," Y/n chuckled.
Female Fae were extremely fertile and their belief was that contraception wasn't aloud due to the multiple loss of Fae during battles with the humans.

They are afraid - and still are - that the Fae will eventually become extinct. So they got rid off contraception and always made sure that the male released inside to make sure there's a chance of pregnancy to increase Fae population and to give people hope that extinction won't happen.

" The best advice I can give you is that to wait and see how he responds to your actions. Focus on his movements, attitude, tone, the way he looks at you compared to other girls. And certainly the way his body reacts. I'm an expert, remember? I know how men react to women they like," He exclaimed, laughing a little with a small smirk. He was right. He knew everything about how a man responds and reacts to a girl because he himself has had a lot of experience with girls.

" Geez, okay lover boy, no need to brag," Y/n commented, grinning a little. Then she realised that she was still in a relationship with Harry. She cursed under her breath, wondering how she was going to tell him that she had fallen for Draco. His enemy. She feared that she would lose her friends for the cause of her feelings, but in the end, she will have to leave them when end of Hogwarts happens and go back to the Malfoy manor. That's if she doesn't get her life source back that is.

" I'll leave this one to you, Y/n, I may be your best friend but I sure ain't being caught up in your drama and love life," He placed his hand firmly on her shoulder before standing up and leaving to wherever he decides to go. Y/n frowned a little, wondering what to do and realised it was next lesson.

It was Professor Trelawney's class. She was a strange woman, Y/n had to admit that, but she was nice. Y/n was sat at her desk, Hermione and Ron were in front of her and Harry was sat at the desk beside hers. Behind her, was Draco and his friends, including Pansy. Y/n felt as if her heart was about to explode from feeling the eyes of Draco on her the whole time instead of the teacher. She could feel his stare. But it made her wonder, why exactly is he staring so long?

" The lesson today is to figure out your own future riddle! All you need to do is stare into the glass ball in front of you and concentrate enough to have a vision of your riddle"
Professor Trelawney explained with excitement and joy. She was clearly excited to see the results and curious to see what futures were laid amongst the students.

" Now begin!" She boasted with a grin.
