Y/n's POV:

Today was the last day of her being at Hogwarts and the day before she was going home for her coronation. She packed her things, feeling sad that she was leaving. It was an amazing time being in Hogwarts, learning things, experiencing what it was like to be a human. Making friends.

She sometimes was glad that she was kidnapped and had her life source taken from her, because without that event happening, she never would have met Draco or her friends. She would have never been to Hogwarts. And without these people and memories in her life, she felt like her life would continue to be boring.

She packed her stuff into a suitcase before exiting Hogwarts whilst holding hands with Draco.
Her friends followed closely behind her, talking to each other with their own conversations.
Y/n looked up at Draco, her heart skipping a beat whenever she saw how handsome he was even though they were in a relationship.
" Are you sure you want to come to my coronation? Humans haven't been inside my Kingdom for centuries," Y/n exclaimed, worried for his safety.

Draco sent her a reassuring smile, the smile he could only give her and nobody else. He placed her hand up to his lips and kissed it whilst their hands were interlocked, his cold lips sending shivers down her spine, " I'll always be with you, despite the dangers. I'm not leaving you now, not ever," Y/n thanked him, feeling more in love with him with each passing day. She leant her head against his arm as they walked into the forbidden woods together, having permission by Dumbledore.

Ron asked nervously, remembering the last time they came into these woods and remembering the giant deadly spiders he once was attacked by.
" How exactly are we going to get there? Your Kingdom is miles away from Hogwarts,"
Y/n didn't respond and just sent him a smirk as she walked over to a large oak tree.

She grabbed her dagger and placed the blade against her palm before slicing it, creating a wound deep enough to bleed. She ignored the gasps of shock and worry from her friends, except Riaz since he knew what she was doing.
Using her blood, she created a Fae symbol and said the Elven word before her blood began to glow. The bark of the tree began to glow as bright as the sun, the middle of the tree completely disappearing and turning into nothing but a hole of pure light.

" All you have to do is step in. These specific trees are laced with Elven magic. We can use them to teleport to other locations," Hermione had never read about such things before, which was why she was so amazed in the moment, along with everyone else. They all stepped through, Y/n becoming last whilst the portal closed up behind her, turning back into nothing but bark. The light fading away with each passing second.

On the other side, Y/n and her friends were now in the royal garden off the castle. It was well - maintained, with vibrant flowerbeds and neatly trimmed hedges lining the cobblestone pathways. The air was filled with the scents of blooming roses and lilies, and the sound of the nature of the forest around echoed in the breeze. The garden had a sense of order and elegance, reflecting the regal and sophisticated nature of the kingdom.

Draco ripped a bit of his robe off, tapping it around the cut around Y/n's hand, concerned.
Y/n thanked him, kissing him on the cheek as the material slowly stopped the bleeding. Draco just nodded, placing his arm around her shoulders and kissing her temple lovingly.

" Y/n?"

Y/n's body froze from shock at the sound of the voice she'd never think she'd hear again. She looked at her parents, who were standing at the entrance of the castle a few feet away, their eyes widened with love. Y/n slowly stepped forward, wondering if she was dreaming or not, but the feeling of the breeze sending shivers down her spine made her realise in that moment she truly wasn't. She was finally home.

Tears instantly pricked her as she ran over as fast as her legs could take her, not even bothering to contain her sobs. She embraced her Mother tightly, sobbing with happiness into her shoulder. The vanilla scent of her Mother felt nostalgic but also great. Nyx instantly hugged back, her arms embracing her with love and desperation.
" I'm so glad you're alright, dear, I was so worried," Nyx exclaimed, her voice shaking from emotion.

She froze in shock when she felt the large pregnancy bump underneath her dress. She hesitantly placed her hand on it, feeling the life growing within her. Y/n looked up at her Mother, tears forming in her eyes from pure happiness,
" Are you really?" Nyx nodded, kissing her forehead, " Yes, you have a little brother on the way," Y/n didn't think she could be more excited and happy at the news. She was finally going to become a big sister.

Y/n pulled away, wiping her tears with her sleeves and embraced her Father, who returned the hug. He kissed her head, " How much you've grown, we're so proud of you, my little princess,"
How much she has missed the sound of their voices and presence.

After a few moments, all attention was turned to her friends and boyfriend, who were watching with happy smiles on their face. But also nervously because they were human in Fae territory. Y/n quickly introduced them before her parents gave orders,
" Mother, Father, these are my friends. They're the most loyal of the humans and the family I've created with friendship," Y/n exclaimed, noticing the suspicious glances her parents were giving them.

She then stood beside Draco, interlocking her hand with his, using her other arm to gently wrap it around his arm, " And this is my boyfriend, Draco Malfoy," Her parents let out a gasp of shock, not expecting for their daughter to be dating a human. Y/n hasn't been able to speak to them for a year now, so she's never exactly had the chance to tell them.

Her Father responded, " A human? Y/n, how do you know he won't be using you for the throne? This goes against all laws of the Fae," Her Father boasted, but he wasn't yelling he was telling. Y/n knew he was doing it out of love and worry for the safety of herself, but she knew Draco wouldn't do such things.

Before she could respond Riaz stepped forward, placing his hand over his heart,
" Your majesty, I've stepped toward to tell you that Draco and these friends are as loyal as they say. Without Draco, our princess wouldn't have been alive right now in this moment. He risked his future, his life to regain her life source. So please give them a chance. Y/n and Draco's love are not to be underestimated,"

Y/n smiled softly at Riaz, sending him a small nod to thank him. Without Riaz's statement and convincing, her parents wouldn't have entirely been convinced. They both nodded, accepting them into their home but only because they trusted their daughter's judgement but also Riaz's. Y/n was instantly relieved by this, pulling her parents into a quick, thankful hug before taking them all to spare rooms to stay for the coronation.
