Y/n's POV:

Harry walked over to her in the hall, his smile seemed to get brighter when he had her in his sight, reading a book as she awaited with Hermione and Ron. Harry kissed her on the cheek, making her giggle. He sat beside her, placing her hand in his as they interlocked hands,
" How was lesson?" Harry asked curiously.

Y/n closed her book and placed it beside her,
" It was alright. Just not as interesting as Snape's classes," Harry chuckled before his gaze drifted to the silver bracelet around her wrist. He hummed curiously, " You didn't tell me you liked jewellery, I would have got you some," He frowned a little. Y/n couldn't help but smile, her heart warming about how much he cares. But she also felt guilty because she had no feelings for him, and at some point, was planning to break up with him.

" You don't need to, Harry, this isn't as expensive as it looked," Y/n lied, sending him a reassuring smile, squeezing his hand a little. He nodded, seeming to calm down and focus his attention on Ron and Hermione.
Whilst he was chatting, Y/n felt a familiar stare pierce her, and she knew exactly who it was coming from. Y/n looked towards the Slytherin table to see Draco smirking at her, tapping his wrist as to remind her off the bracelet. Y/n frowned and instantly looked away, not wanting to talk to him at the moment.

Sometimes, he acted just like his Father. At times, she tries to convince herself that he's just under pressure by Lucius or that he doesn't mean to do this because how he was raised. She had a feeling that was the situation he was in. Or because he was just a cocky brat who liked to have power over others, especially her.

She still believed he was broken inside, and she was going to help him cure that deep wound within his heart because she hated seeing people in pain.
Especially emotional pain, because that was a lot worse and a lot more painful than a physical one.

After she talked with her friends, Y/n decided to go to a specific place in Hogwarts that always made her clear her mind from so many thoughts. She sat beside a large oak tree beside the large reservoir that surrounded most of Hogwarts.
The tree reminded her of home. Of her Mother and Father and off the forest she was from.

She leant against it, letting her body drop as she stared at the sun in the distance that was slowly beginning to rise. Hogwarts was on top of the cliff, so Y/n knew that it would take some time for her friends and other students to find her.

She inhaled deeply, letting the fresh breeze fill her lungs as she placed her hand on the bark, feeling at ease when she did. It was almost as if the trees absorb her heavy thoughts that weigh her down. All Fae have a deeper connected to nature than humans. It's in their blood for being raised surrounded by them.

" Mother, Father, I miss you so much," Y/n whispered, feeling the grass beneath her palm as a single tear dropped from her eyes. Soon followed by a lot more. She missed home. She missed her family to the core and it pained her that she can't go back until she gets her life source back.

" Are you alright?" A soft voice asked. Y/n quickly wiped her tears, forcing a smile towards the pale blonde girl. She recognised her before since she was quite a unique student and she was curious about her. Luna Lovegood. Ravenclaw.

Y/n nodded, hoping she saw through her facade,
" Yes I'm fine, just getting some fresh air, is all,"
Y/n set her a small, fake smile and watched her brows furrow and her smile slowly fade.
" You've been crying, is everything alright? It's not healthy to keep it on your shoulders,"
Y/n couldn't help but let out a small laugh, it reminded her of the conversation she had with Draco when he first broke down. It seems as if they were both going through similar issues with emotions just with different reasons.

Y/n sensed that Luna was a nice and friendly girl,
she didn't even have to meet her to notice that.
" I just miss my home is all," Y/n replied, her smile fading at the memory and turned away.

Luna hummed and walked over, sitting beside her by the grass. She felt for her she had to admit that. Being forced out of her home must have been a painful experience and being parted from her family. She gave Y/n's hand a small squeeze,
" I'm sorry, it must be hard, but remember that they're trying to find you, right now in this very moment. No evil or action can rival a parent's fury,"

Y/n thanked her for the advice, not noticing a certain Pegasus that works for her Parent's that had finally found her and flew back into the woods.
