Y/n's POV:

The week went by rather fast than Y/n expected and before she knew it, Narcissa began to take her out to shop for Hogwarts. No fae has ever attended Hogwarts in over hundreds of years, so the nervous pit in her stomach was rather endless, making her feel nauseous. It took a lot of convincing from Lucius for her to attend, so she will be automatically transferred to Draco's year, besides they are the same age.

The word of the Malfoy's capturing a fae went around like wildfire, so when Y/n was walking in public within Diagon Alley, everyone gasped in fear and shock as they quickly went out of her pathway. Fae are greatly feared by humans for their power and abilities, not to mention their wrath and short tempers. So Y/n wasn't surprised by these reactions, but she must admit, the way they looked at her, like she was a monster, it pained her slightly.

Narcissa seemed to notice the nervous look on
Y/n's face and placed a comforting hand on her shoulder, sending her the usual kind smile of hers, " Don't worry, dear, everything is going to be alright. My son, Draco, is a troubled boy because of his Father. He may seem strong and cocky on the outside, but within, he's just a soft boy who wants love. But of course, my love for him isn't enough to save him from the evil in this world," She let out a heavy sigh, the light and kindness within her gaze seemed to easily be replaced with sorrow and grief.

Y/n's heart felt as if it was twisting by seeing her so sad. She was an incredibly kind woman who has a heart of gold to be a Slytherin. She doesn't deserve this pain, and Y/n knew that. Besides, she is the one Y/n is looking up to for help because she knows that Narcissa truly cares for her wellbeing. However Y/n kept silent because Y/n knew she can do nothing to help because in truth - there isn't anything she can do.

She led her into the shop pull of pets, letting you decide which to pick. Y/n looked around in awe at all the animals, but being grown in a forest full of them, she felt bad for them being trapped in cages like this for profit. Excluding the negative thought, she hummed before meeting eyes with a fox. It was as white as snow and its eyes were an ocean blue. It was only a small one since it was still a baby.

Narcissa looked at the cute, baby snow fox,
" I assume you'd like this one?" She asked sweetly. Y/n nodded and watched her pay for it, thanking her before taking it out of its cage and placed it in her arms. The fox immediately settled into her embrace. The Fae are naturally good at taming animals, so the fox trusted her instantly.
Y/n giggled for the first time for a while; her smile more beautiful than an angel, " How about I call you, Ghost?" The fox yelped in happiness, accepting the name.

Narcissa chuckled and bought her Slytherin robes and the uniform before buying her some more clothes for the wardrobe. She looked at the wand shop, " Your kind don't use wands, do they?" Y/n shook her head, looking down at Ghost sleeping in her arms, " No, we don't need it, we already have magic within our bodies,"

Narcissa nodded, " Let's just get one in case, okay?" Y/n followed her into the shop and she tried out lots of wands before the man gave her a rare one made out of a phoenix feather. When
Y/n flicked the wand, the water that was in his glass came and surrounded the tip of the wand behind a light blue glow.

He seemed alarmed by the sight but also fascinated, " Perfect. This wand has chosen you, but be careful, if you use too much of your magic within this wand it will break. Wands are only meant to be for wizards and witches,"  Y/n mentally noted all the information and walked o it with her new wand in her pocket.

" Someone help! He has my baby!" A woman weeped as she pointed to the old woman who was running away with her crying baby. Everyone was so in shock they were letting her get away by the minute.

Y/n placed her hands on the ground, concentrating where all the water was within the earth and plants surrounding her. Water is everywhere, in people, in the ground and very earth, and even in the atmosphere. So she always had a weapon with her.
Opening her eyes, she lifted all the moisture and water from the ground, the water levitating around her body like a circle before she shot it at the kidnapper.

The water engulfed her ankles and Y/n made it freeze and turn to ice, stopping her from moving any further. The Mother ran over and slapped the woman in the face before snatching the baby out of her grasp.

The people around Y/n cheered for her saving as the Mother thanked her repeatedly, tears forming in her eyes from her gratitude as she clutched her baby closer to her as if it was going to get stolen again from its crib. " Thank you so much, dear, I can't thank you enough," Y/n sent her a small smile, telling her that it was fine. From then on people thought of her as a hero, but there was some wizards and witches who thought of Y/n still as a threat.

" Let's go home, dear," Narcissa smiled as Y/n nodded, both of them heading back with lots of shopping bags.
