Y/n's POV:

Y/n placed one hand on the glass ball and the other holding a quill, concentrating all her strength into the ball. It glowed underneath her touch and suddenly she began to write without even thinking. It was like her arm had a mind of its own.

In a land of strife and danger untold
An unexpected love begins to unfold,
A fae and a human is an unlikely pair
But their love stands strong against all fears

A villain's schemes, a battle to fight
But their love is their source of light
No matter the odds, they will prevail
In the end, love will never fail

Y/n read the prophecy all over again in shock and disbelief. It took her a moment to process what she had read. A fae and a human? She knew it meant herself, but what human? She knew that she was falling for Draco, but surely he doesn't or will never like her back. It was impossible.
However there was a small voice in the back of her head and a small space within her heart that hoped it was him in a small way.

She folded the paper before anyone could read it and placed it in her pocket, pretending like her prophecy didn't work. It was a lesson after all.
There was no telling if a student would get it right or wrong,

She bit the inside of her cheek nervously about the other part of mentioned. A battle with a villain. She knew exactly what that was and that was the woman who is related to Voldemort and took his place. It scared her that she will be going against her in the future, but she knew that in order to learn to become a strong and powerful Queen. She must defeat her enemies.

After receiving the prophecy, Y/n's thoughts were so overwhelming that she completely blanked everyone else in the classroom, making it feel as if she was the only person though. She was so focused she had no idea what was going on around her.

From the other side of the classroom, Draco clutched his paper, the poem he had written surprised him more than anyone, but also confused him. He blanked out his friends and the people in the classroom as he constantly read it repeatedly. It made no sense. Not to him anyway.

Your heart is heavy and pain abounds
But a love will be found that will cure all sounds,
A bond will be formed that will heal all the wounds
And through this love, emotional pain shall subside,
Two sounds find solace and pride

He knew what it meant, it was quite clear, even a little kid would know. But no matter how many times he believed this was true, he always managed to convince himself it was a mere dream that wasn't possible for him to reach.
Like who on earth would fall for Draco Malfoy?
He's constantly bratty towards other people and his Father is known for his wickedness. Not to mention that he was pressured to become a death eater. That's what he told himself.

But then he looked at her.

He watched carefully as she read her poem, she was staring at it for an awful amount of time, which made him wonder what was on it. However, that didn't stop him from admiring just how beautiful she was. It made his breath stop within his lungs, his lips parted slightly as the sun directly shown on her from the window.
She looked like a pure goddess.

Her hair was S/L and always taken care off to compliment her features. Her skin always looked as if it was glowing. But her eyes were his favourite part. They weren't a colour of an ordinary human, and when he looked in them, he always felt as if he was looking into the eyes of a painting. They were beautiful. Like gemstones were within her irises.

Then he realised his thoughts about her and stopped. Was he really just thinking about Y/n like that? The girl his Father wishes to keep as a servant? The one who is spying on Hogwarts just because her life depends on it? He shook his head, his brows furrowing in denial. There was no way. But deep within, he was scared of falling in love, because he knew that everyone misunderstood him. He was scared of heartbreak and someone he truly loves leaving him.

Yet when he thought of Y/n, all those negative thoughts about himself seemed to wash away in an instant. He had no idea what was going on or how he was feeling, but he knew one thing, he was falling for Y/n. He could feel it when his heart increased when he even thought about her and the way he had butterflies amusing his stomach.

Riaz noted the two's reaction from the back of the classroom with crossed arms, a smirk clear on his face as he grinned mischievously,
" Well how the tables have turned. It seems Father's boy has figured out his true feelings,"
Riaz muttered, thinking off all the ways he could get them both together. Y/n needed someone in her life who could make her happy, Riaz wasn't always going to be around because he was in the royal military, so he was constantly away.

And her parents were getting old so they weren't going to be around forever too. And when they're gone, she will have no one to turn to for help.
So he knew that she needed a lover. A true lover who will always be by her side and love her for the way she was and not for the crown. He'll make sure of that even if Y/n doesn't see it.

And he knew that Draco was the perfect person.

He wasn't a Fae, which made it an advantage because he knows he won't be interested in her heritage. He wasn't loved entirely by his parents, so he won't have a problem moving with Y/n into the palace within the Fae Kingdom. And he was attractive in his own way, so their children would be perfect as princes and princesses.

He came to an exact decision in that moment that he will get them both together. No matter what. He had a gut feeling that they were meant for each other.

Opposites Attract after all.
