With Tenzin leading the benders to the Northern Air Temple Korra and Y/N's protection is in Beifong's hands.

Korra plays fetch with Naga while Lin, Y/N and Bolin watch.
Lin:While you play with your pet, four of the world's most dangerous criminals are on your trail.
Korra:Relax, we just arrived and then no one knows where we are now except us.
Y/N:Not to mention the fact that these guys don't even know who I am, basically they're looking for the Dark Avatar not Y/N. It will be easier to catch them by surprise.
Lin:We don't know if they know who you really are Y/N, I remind you that they were prisoners of the White Lotus who knows who you really are.
Naga returns with the ball to put it at Lin's feet.
Korra:I think she wants me to throw her the ball.
Lin looks at the dirty ball with saliva and grass.
Lin:No thanks.
Asami:We received a radio message about another airbender.
Asami and Mako reach the four.
Korra:Finally, where is it?
Mako:In a city called Zaofu, home of the Metal Clan.
Korra:Do you know it?
Lin:Eh, I've never been there and I don't intend to go. I would be more at peace if you two returned safely to Republic City.
Korra:Sorry, but if there's an airbender in Zao-Fu then that's where we'll go.
Everyone except Lin gets on the airship. Naga pushes the ball towards Lin who pierces it with one of her cables and then enters the airship while Naga sadly watches the ball.
[Timeskip]
The airship reaches Zaofu.

Bolin:*laugh* Wow a city made of metal! You must feel at home Beifong.
The airship approaches to be docked to the ground by metalbenders.
Bolin:Yes!
Asami:Aren't you coming?
Lin:What is there to see? Is metal. Find this airbender and let's leave, don't tell anyone I'm here.
Y/N:Okay.
Korra:Why?
Lin:I don't owe you any explanations, just do as I say.
