I was walking with Hyunjin, enjoying the brief escape from the noise of the party. The fresh air made me feel better, and our conversation became more relaxed."You know, I once had a dog that always ran away the moment I opened the door," I said, smiling at the memory. "One time, he ran around the yard dressed as Batman."
Hyunjin laughed. "I wish I’d seen that! My cat went through a phase of hiding in the closet and jumping out at me when I got home from school. It was terrifying!"
Suddenly, my phone rang, interrupting our reminiscing. Jisung's name appeared on the screen.
"Hey, Jisung! What's up?" I answered the call.
"Felix! Where are you? I've been looking for you everywhere!" Jisung’s voice sounded worried.
"Relax, we’re just taking a walk. Why? What's wrong?" I asked, feeling a bit uneasy.
"I'm sorry I left you! I thought it would be fun, but...," Jisung hesitated. "Who are you with? Who's there?"
I smiled at my phone, feeling reassured. "It's Hyunjin, a new friend. I'm fine, Jisung. Enjoy the party! We just needed a break."
"Okay, but don’t disappear on me!" Jisung said, sounding relieved.
"I promise we'll be back soon. Have fun!" I ended the call.
Hyunjin looked at me. "It's nice that he cares about you."
I nodded. "Yeah, Jisung's always been protective. I'm glad nothing's wrong."
We continued our walk, sharing more funny childhood stories, savoring the peaceful moment before returning to the party.

Sitting in a circle with the rest of the group, I could feel the energy building in the air. Someone suggested playing charades, but with cards. Each person had to draw a word and act it out using gestures. I was glad we had finally found something that brought everyone together. When it was Jeongin's turn, he eagerly picked up a card. We all watched him, ready for his performance. He started making slow, exaggerated movements, trying to act out the word "zombie."
"Zombie!" I shouted, bursting into laughter. His face was so focused that I could barely contain myself.
Then it was my turn. I hesitated as I drew a card and saw the word "bubble." I smiled at the group, then began making gestures, twisting my arms and pretending to float in the air.
"What is he doing?" Jeongin called out, and everyone started laughing.
Each round of charades brought more laughter and surprise. I felt like what started as a simple gathering was turning into something truly fun. In moments like these, with all the joy and laughter, it was easy to forget about everything else.
"I never knew charades could be this exciting!" I thought. Even though it was sometimes hard to communicate, I felt like we were all connected, having more fun than ever before.

After the intense charades game, we all needed a moment to catch our breath. Smiles on our faces, we sat on the floor, and the atmosphere was full of joy. I noticed Seungmin sitting next to me, still laughing from the last round."I didn’t expect to have so much fun," I admitted, leaning back against the wall. "I’ve never been a big fan of games, but that was really great."
"Yeah, I agree," Seungmin said, still giggling at the memory of my "zombie." "But what’s next? Do we have any other plans?"
I thought for a moment. "Maybe we could watch a movie? Or just chat? I’d love to hear what you guys think about the party."
Seungmin glanced at the group. "Good idea. I wanted to ask how everyone’s feeling in this atmosphere. After all, it’s Halloween, and it’s a bit different from a regular party."
One of the guys with us chimed in, "I think it’s a great way to make new connections. We may be from different classes, but it’s working!"
I nodded in agreement, feeling like this party was about more than just having fun. It was a chance to bond, and this group was getting closer with every moment.
After a bit more conversation, one of the guys, Jin, suggested, "How about we share some funny life stories? That always lightens the mood!"
Everyone nodded enthusiastically, and I felt like this could be a great way to get even closer.
"Alright, I’ll start!" Jin called out. "I remember in elementary school, I tried to impress a girl by learning to dance. I practiced in my room, thinking I was the coolest. But one day, I got carried away, hit the closet, and fell flat on the floor. When I finally got up, my mom was standing in the doorway, and I looked like a complete fool!"
Everyone burst out laughing, and Jin, with a wide grin, added, "Since then, I only dance at parties where no one knows me!"
"That was awesome!" Seungmin said, and I couldn’t help but laugh too.
"Okay, my turn," I chimed in. "I remember in high school, I planned a surprise for my friend. I bought a cake and brought it to class. Everything was going great until the bag ripped, and the cake fell straight to the floor!"
Both Seungmin and the others burst out laughing.
"You know what the worst part was?" I continued. "I didn’t even have time to be embarrassed because everyone immediately started helping me clean up!"
"I remember that!" Seungmin laughed.
The atmosphere grew even lighter, and we shared more funny stories, which only strengthened our bond. I felt like these moments were more than just entertainment – they were memories we’d cherish forever.
