Boredom settled in my room, and my desk, buried under papers, resembled a battlefield. I was searching through documents, trying to find something meaningful when suddenly my gaze landed on a crumpled photo that had fallen out of one of the books. Intrigued, I reached for it and unfolded it in my hands.

As I looked at the photo, my heart raced. It was a scene from that evening—Jisung, Chan, and Hyunjin in a joyful moment, but that wasn’t what caught my attention. On the shoulder of one guy in the background, I noticed a tattoo that seemed incredibly familiar. I tried to recall where I had seen it before, but my memory was clouded by the chaos of events.

“Where do I know this tattoo from?” I wondered, running my fingers over the paper as if that would help me recall. Questions and anxieties swirled in my mind. I began to understand that this photo might hold key significance for the mystery we were facing.

I gripped the photo tighter, feeling that I had to show it to my friends. Whatever had happened, I knew this couldn't be a coincidence. I stood up, determinedly heading towards the exit, repeating to myself that I needed to learn more. I felt that this was the beginning of something important.

Standing by the door, I knocked. I impatiently shifted from foot to foot in front of Jisung's door. I knew that what I had to show could change everything. When he finally opened the door, I practically stumbled inside.

“Jisung, you have to see something I found!” I exclaimed, scanning the room for Hyunjin.

“And where's Hyunjin?” I asked, glancing at Jisung anxiously.

“How would I know?” he replied with an innocent shrug.

From the couch, Seungmin's loud voice reached us:

“He couldn't come because he had something to take care of!”

“Anyway, I need to show you without Hyunjin!” I decided, unable to wait any longer. I sat down next to Jisung on the couch, and my heart raced as I pulled out the paper.

“Check out this photo!” I said, showing it to them. Their faces were full of surprise, and I silently prayed they wouldn't misunderstand.

“What’s that tattoo?” Jisung asked, leaning closer to me.

“I have no idea!” I replied, trying to hide the growing tension inside me. “But it looks familiar...”

The bright lights of the bar reflected in our eyes, and the music in the background made us feel slightly dazed. I sat next to Seungmin while Jeongin and Chan were busy ordering more drinks. Meanwhile, I glanced at the spot where Felix was sitting, but he eventually disappeared into the restroom.

“Hey, guys,” I started, interrupting their conversation. “Do you remember when Felix said he discovered something recently?”

“Yeah, some photo,” Seungmin chimed in, raising his eyebrows.

“Exactly!” I agreed. “But Hyunjin wasn't around then. Felix should show it when he gets back. It might be something important.”

Hyunjin looked at me curiously, and I noticed Seungmin seemed intrigued.

“Does it have anything to do with what happened at the party?” Jeongin asked, leaning on the table.

“He mentioned something about a photo…” I replied, still uncertain about what exactly Felix had found. “I hope it’s nothing bad.”

At that moment, Felix returned to the bar, looking excited. He looked at us with a smile, as if he was already planning to tell us about his discovery.

“Hey, I’m back!” he called, approaching our table. “What did I miss?”

“Nothing important, but we’re waiting for you to show us something,” I replied, curious about his reaction.

Felix sat down next to me, and the others looked at him expectantly.

Sitting in the bar, I felt my friends' eyes on me. I was ready to show them the photo that had intrigued me so much. Jisung, Chan, and Hyunjin stared at me with anticipation. Just as I was about to pull out my phone, Hyunjin suddenly interrupted:

“Hey, Lixie, could you grab me a Shake first?”

Surprised, I looked at him.

“But... we brought drinks!” Chan said, slightly confused.

“I know, but I want a Shake,” Hyunjin replied with a smile that made it hard for me to refuse.

“Okay, okay, I’ll go,” I sighed, although thoughts about the tattoo swirled in my head.

I ordered the Shake and waited, thinking about the photo I had to show. What did that tattoo look like? With sudden determination, I tried to recall every detail, but the image still eluded my memory.

When I finally got my drink, I turned to head back to the table. That’s when my heart stopped. On Hyunjin’s arm, in the bar’s light, I saw the exact same tattoo that was in the photo!

In an instant, the glass slipped from my hands, and the Shake spilled all over the floor.

As I stared at Hyunjin in shock, a short exclamation escaped me:

“Oh fuck.”
