Changbin pov.
We were sitting in the office, reviewing reports from recent cases when suddenly our boss walked in, with an expression suggesting he had something important to share. Everyone's gaze focused on him.“I have bad news for you,” he began, and I immediately felt a sense of unease. “We’ve found a new body. And what’s worse, this person was at the same party where the previous tragedy occurred.”
Silence fell in the room. My thoughts revolved around the whole situation. How could it be that something happened again? Minho looked at me in clear disbelief, and I could only shrug, trying to make eye contact with him.
“Who was it?” Minho asked, leaning against the desk, ready for any information.
“It’s…” The boss hesitated for a moment. “It’s someone named Mia. We saw her earlier in the recordings from that party. We need to figure out what happened.”
Right after the boss said that, a question popped into my head that wouldn’t let me rest. How many people who were at that party might be in danger? When I looked at Minho, I noticed his expression had turned serious.
“We need to act fast,” Minho said. “We have to find out more.”
“Agreed,” I added. “If Mia was there, there’s a good chance someone else might be involved too.”
The boss nodded. “Gather the team; we’re going to the scene. We need to clarify what happened.”
Everyone quickly gathered their things. I felt that similar situations could arise at any moment.

Jisung pov.
I was sitting on the couch at Felix's place, feeling a bit excited but also somewhat embarrassed. I looked at him, fiddling with the pillow.“Felix, I think I’ve fallen in love,” I said, trying to sound casual.
Felix raised an eyebrow, his lips curving into a smile.
“Think? You meant to say, ‘Felix, I’m completely in love with Minho, and I can’t stop thinking about him, that’s why I keep bothering you about him.’”
I started to blush.
“Do I? Maybe…”
Felix rolled his eyes.
“Oh Jisung, it’s obvious. You can’t deny it.”
At that moment, Seungmin and Jeongin walked into the room.
“Guys, why didn’t you pick up?” Seungmin asked, looking at us with concern.
“My phone is off, and Jisung’s is charging. What’s going on?”
Seungmin sighed and looked at us seriously.
“There’s another victim. That Mia… or Tessa, I don’t remember. Anyway, new ones keep appearing day by day... it’s like a pattern. And Hyunjin left home and went to Chan’s, refusing to say why and for how long. We need to help track him.”
I felt a sudden unease in my heart. I thought about Minho and what was happening in our area.

I sat with Felix in the car, and before us stretched the dark landscape as we drove towards Chan’s house. I could feel the tension in the air rising, and my mind was swirling with thoughts about Hyunjin.
“You know, Felix, Hyunjin might not be in danger after all,” I suddenly said, trying to break the silence.
Felix raised his eyebrows, surprise etched on his face. “What? What do you mean?”
“It’s just… he’s been acting strangely lately. He might not be as innocent as everyone thinks,” I added, glancing at him.
I heard Seungmin and Jeongin in the back starting to listen.
“What?” Jeongin asked, his tone full of concern. “What are you talking about?”
“Exactly,” Seungmin chimed in. “What do you mean?”
I swallowed hard, thinking about everything I had seen. “Hyunjin has been hanging out with some sketchy types lately, and there was that… strange glint in his eyes. Like he’s plotting something.”
Felix nodded, adding, “Yeah, I noticed that too. Same at school; as soon as break started, he would drift away and disappear for a good ten minutes like he had something to hide.”
Seungmin exchanged glances with Jeongin, and I could see the growing worry in their eyes.
“That doesn’t sound good,” Jeongin stated. “We need to make sure he’s okay.”
I agreed with them but felt doubts rising within me. “Felix, maybe you should talk to him. But what if his strange behavior has more to do with himself than with any real danger?”
Felix patted me on the back. “I can do that. But we need to find him first.”
We drove on, my thoughts swirling around Hyunjin, his mysterious behavior, and what could really be happening. We needed to find out more.

I spotted Hyunjin at the corner of the street. For a moment, I held my breath, uncertain if it was really him. After a moment, I looked at Felix, pointing to where he should park.
“Park there, in that side street,” I said, gesturing for Felix to turn a bit aside.
Felix complied and turned into the narrow street, and I, along with Seungmin and Jeongin, impatiently waited for the car to stop. We got out, and I led them on foot towards Hyunjin.
As we got closer, Felix suddenly stopped, crossing his arms over his chest.
“I’ve had enough!” he declared, his tone leaving no room for doubt. “Either he admits it, or he doesn’t. He can’t hurt anyone as long as we’re all four against one!”
Without waiting for a response, Felix marched towards Hyunjin, and I and the others started to panic, trying to catch up with him. My heart raced – I felt that this confrontation could be crucial, yet I couldn’t shake the fear that everything could fall apart if Hyunjin didn’t react as he should.
As Felix approached Hyunjin, we quickened our pace to keep them in sight.
“Felix, wait!” I called, my voice tinged with both determination and uncertainty.
