I sat on the couch in Chan's living room, surrounded by noise and laughter, but I felt somehow isolated. Why did I even sign up for this? That question had been circling in my mind since we arrived. Time passed, and I still couldn't get used to the party's commotion.Within minutes that felt like an eternity, Jisung vanished somewhere into the crowd. On one hand, I was happy he was having fun, but on the other—I felt left to fend for myself. Groups of acquaintances danced and laughed around me, and I wondered what I was even doing here.
Everything felt so foreign. Parties were not my favorite way to spend time, and in this situation, I felt even more lost. As the music grew louder, doubts crept into my mind. Maybe I shouldn't have come?
I wanted to find Jisung, but people in the crowd swayed aimlessly, and I felt like I was becoming part of the chaos while simultaneously remaining outside of it. How can one have fun in such a large group when they feel so lonely?
I took a deep breath and looked at the table where drinks lay. Maybe something would change if I tried to relax? I decided I couldn't give up, so I attempted to rise from the couch, searching for any familiar face in the crowd.

Sitting at the edge of the table, I watched the people having fun, trying to understand what I was doing here. I came to this party knowing I would be alone, and honestly, I had no idea why I even pushed myself to come. With each passing moment, I felt more lost in this sea of faces. As I looked up, I noticed a girl approaching me—Tzuyu, with a smile on her face. She was beautiful, and her confidence was contagious. "Maybe this is the moment," I thought, hoping that maybe something would come of it.
"Hey, what's up?" she asked, leaning her hand on the table.
"Hi," I replied uncertainly. "Nothing much, really."
We started talking, but I quickly felt disinterested. Her enthusiasm was overwhelming, and I felt even lonelier.
"You know, I thought maybe you'd want to have some fun," she said, tilting her head.
With all due respect, I just wasn't in the mood for that. "Thanks, but I'm not interested," I confessed, my words sounding too dry.
In an instant, her smile disappeared. She looked at me in shock, and then… wham! She slapped me hard and shouted, "Asshole !"
I was taken aback. My heart started racing, and everyone around us went silent. Tzuyu turned on her heel, and I was left in disbelief, trying to process what had just happened. Instead of fun, I found myself in an awkward situation.
I began to wonder if it was all worth the stress. Maybe this just wasn't my night.

I sat on the balcony, holding a drink that had become warm in my hand. The party inside was in full swing, but I felt like I was getting bored with all the fun. Jisung had disappeared somewhere in the crowd, and I had no desire to search for him in the dark rooms.I lost myself in thought, staring at the night sky when suddenly I heard footsteps behind me. I glanced back and saw a boy approaching me with an uncertain smile. I didn’t know him.
At first, I tried to ignore him, staring at my drink, but from the corner of my eye, I noticed him staring intently at me. Why? Eventually, I couldn't hold back and looked at him.
"Do we know each other?" I asked, raising an eyebrow in question.
"No, but we can get to know each other," he replied, smiling broadly. "I'm Hyunjin."
"Felix," I responded, reaching out my hand in greeting.
I started to wonder how he ended up at this party. "What brings you here?"
Hyunjin shrugged. "Honestly, I came because my friends convinced me. And you?"
"I got dragged along by Jisung, but now I regret it," I said with a slight laugh. "I’d rather spend time in peace than in a crowd."
"I get that. Sometimes these parties are overwhelming." Hyunjin looked down, his tone more reflective. "But it's good you're here; at least you're not alone."
I began to think maybe it was worth trying to befriend him. Maybe this conversation wouldn’t be so bad.
"Want a drink?" I asked, pointing at my beverage.
"Sure! What do you have?" he replied, smiling widely.
And so we began to talk, discovering that perhaps this party had something to offer after all.

We sat in a circle with a group of friends, and the atmosphere was wonderful. We were playing "Truth or Dare," and I felt a slight tension as the bottle spun in my direction."Seungmin, truth or dare?" one of the girls asked, and everyone fell silent.
"Dare!" I replied, trying to sound confident, even though I was trembling inside.
"Do a dance from your favorite movie!" she exclaimed with a wide smile.
I panicked. I looked at Jeongin, who looked like he was about to burst out laughing.
"What? I can’t dance!" I groaned, but Jeongin was already in a playful mood.
"You have to try!" he said, patting me on the back. "It'll be great!"
We both stood up from the floor, and I began to feel a chill in my stomach.
"What do you say about 'When in Rome'?" I suggested, but Jeongin shook his head.
"No, let's do 'Frozen' instead! We can pretend to sing 'Let It Go'!"
The music from the speakers started to play, and I, though unsure, decided to give it a try. We began pretending to be dancing elves, which caused bursts of laughter from the group.
I quickly realized it wasn't so bad after all.
"Look, we're stars!" I shouted, feeling the adrenaline start to rise.
Soon the entire group joined our fun, and we became the center of attention.
When we finally finished, everyone started to applaud. A feeling of relief and joy filled me. Despite my initial fears, we were having a great time.
"You have to do this again!" Jeongin said, laughing.
"Oh no, not a chance," I replied, also laughing.
