With tension in my heart, I stood by the door, waiting for Jeongin to bring the costumes. Finally, I heard the doorbell ring. I opened the door, and there was Jisung standing with a wide smile on his face.
“Ready for the party?” he asked, bouncing with excitement.
“I think so,” I replied, though I still felt a bit nervous.
Shortly after, we got into the taxi we ordered. Jisung sat next to me, while Jeongin took the front seat, chatting with the driver.
“I can’t believe we’re going to this party!” Jisung exclaimed, his enthusiasm was contagious. “It’s going to be amazing. Everyone will be there, and we’ll definitely stand out in our costumes!”
“What if no one notices us?” I asked, more out of curiosity than doubt.
“How could that be?” Jisung replied, shaking his head. “We’re the superheroes of the night! Although, I’m not sure if we’re more like Batman and Robin, or maybe Scooby-Doo and his gang.”
“Even though I’d prefer to be someone darker, we can’t miss this,” I added, laughing at his comparison.
The taxi sped through the city, lights flashing outside the window, getting us into the party mood. Jisung kept telling stories about the parties he’d been to, and how everyone had a great time.
“Remember how last year we were all dancing to that song?” he started, and I recalled that chaotic night full of laughter and dancing. “We need to do that again!”
As we got closer to Chan’s house, my tension began to mix with excitement. I hoped this party would be an unforgettable event that we would remember for a long time.

The taxi stopped in front of Chan’s house, and my heart started beating faster. We stepped onto the sidewalk, and Jisung immediately ran to the door, skipping a few steps with excitement.
Chan opened the door, and his smile was instantly visible. “Hey guys! I’m so glad you came!” he said, inviting us inside.
Felix, standing in the back, seemed a bit less excited. “Do you think this is a good idea?” he asked, looking at Chan. “I’m not sure if I’m ready for this kind of party.”
Jisung wasn’t discouraged. “Felix, what are you talking about? It’s going to be great! The whole school will be there, and we have to be part of it!”
Chan nodded in agreement. “I agree! It’ll be fun, really. People will be dancing, celebrating, and we just need to relax and enjoy the moment.”
Felix still didn’t seem convinced. “What if I don’t have fun?” he asked, looking at Jisung with doubt.
“Just give it a try!” Jisung replied, patting him on the back. “Think about how nice it’ll be to hang out with friends and just relax. Everyone’s friendly, and the atmosphere will be great!”
Felix hesitated, then looked at me. “Alright, but if it’s not fun, you all will be responsible!”
Chan laughed, gently pushing Felix forward. “Come on, don’t be convinced so easily! It’s going to be an unforgettable night!”
With a deep breath, and the rest of the group, we entered the house. The thought of the upcoming party began to excite me. This was going to be our moment, our adventure.
