“So you’re saying Jeongin has been kidnapped?” Hyunjin asked, his voice sounding more like an accusation than a question.“Well, maybe not kidnapped, but he’s definitely missing, so what else could it be?” Seungmin replied, clearly worried. “I don’t want him to die too. You know what happened to all those people.”
Silence fell in the room. Each of us was aware of the tragic events that had occurred recently. People disappearing under mysterious circumstances had become an increasingly real threat.
“Calm down, we’ll find him, okay?” I said, trying to sound confident. I tried not to think about how little we knew. “We just have to act quickly and carefully.”
“How are we supposed to do that?” Hyunjin looked at me anxiously. “We don’t have any clues, nothing. Just that horrible tattoo we saw.”
Seungmin, hands on his hips, added, “Maybe we should go back to the place where he was last seen. See if there are any traces.”
“That’s a good idea.” I agreed. “It might lead to some answers.”
Hyunjin looked at us, his eyes full of determination.
“We won’t let this happen again.” He said, his tone indicating that he was ready for anything. “We’re not doing this for ourselves, but for Jeongin. We have to find him.”
We began planning who would do what. We were preparing for an expedition where anything could happen. I knew we couldn’t give up. We had each other, and that gave us strength.

Seungmin pov.
We had been searching for Jeongin for several hours, splitting up to cover as much ground as possible. My heart raced at the thought that he could be in danger. Everyone seemed determined, but I couldn’t shake the feeling that time was not on our side.I started to wander around the area, listening for any sounds that might indicate his presence. At first, everything seemed normal, but when I reached an abandoned park, something caught my attention.
I saw him.
Jeongin was sitting on a bench with some unfamiliar guy who looked quite suspicious. From a distance, I couldn’t hear their conversation, but I noticed that Jeongin had a worried expression on his face. This didn’t look good. Instinct urged me to approach closer, but I knew I had to be careful.
I accidentally stepped on a dry twig, causing the man to turn in my direction. My heart dropped. At that moment, Jeongin looked alarmed, and the stranger appeared increasingly furious. Before I could back away, the man stood up and approached me with confrontation in mind.
“What do you want?” he asked, his voice sounding threatening.
I didn’t have a chance to respond. I felt a strong hand grab my arm and pull me backward. At that moment, Jeongin looked toward me, his eyes filled with fear.
“Seungmin!” he called out, but it was too late. I was pulled into the darkness.
I started to struggle, but I had no chance to escape. They surrounded me, and my heart raced wildly. I knew I had to find a way to break free and reach the guys before it was too late.

I opened my eyes, feeling a tight grip on my wrists. For a moment, I was disoriented, and the dark walls of the basement, along with the dim light of a hanging bulb, only heightened my terror. It took me a moment to realize that I was tied to a chair. My heart raced as I looked across and saw Jeongin, also immobilized.
